Thanks so much for correctly pronouncing “Mogollon”. I lived on the rim for several years. You become accustomed to hooking your foot under the car door when you open it. You see cars and trucks with obvious damage from the door swinging wide open and hitting the body in front of the door. What a great place the rim is. It goes from over in NM all the way to the Grand Canyon.

Loved this video. It brought back old memories. As a young man, I spent many hours, exploring the Mogollon Rim country. Back then, in the 60s I would go up by myself and explore I had one of the first Ford Broncos. I almost never used any of the trails that now exist. Instead, I would go in and find an exit point through trees and just start driving towards the rim. Not a wise thing but I was not a wise kid. I would camp overnight, usually on the weekends and remember experiencing the exhilarating feeling of looking out over all the valleys below, and experiencing the almost constant wind at the rim. Thanks for sharing this video it brought back fond memories to an old man, in the reworked words of another, ancient man, “you made my day.”

Wow, another magnificent video! Beautiful wilderness, heart-stopping views . . . yes, places like these need to be kept peaceful and pristine. Thank you for sharing your amazing travels, Mr. Slim. Safe travels and more peaceful adventures . . .

Beautiful photography Sir. I just wish U didn't stand so close to the edge! Yep, U guessed it, height scares the heck out of me. You sounded and looked like a hang glider pilot as you talked about how magnificent the birds are as they soar in ridge lift. Then, as you stood on the edge, arms spread, feeling the wind you were just one step away from being a hang glider pilot. You can experience what you were dreaming at that moment. That is what flying hang gliders is all about!

Awesome video I've grown up in the Mogollon Rim country and still find new places to see there it is full of a rich history some awesome Lakes and streams and so many boondocking spots I can't even begin to count them then below the Mogollon rim you've got the Verde River a place called Child's that's a pretty rough one to get into with a trailer awesome hot springs there you have to go almost to the town of Camp Verde to go there.
