I regret enlisting a lot. I got messed up, everyone seemed to hate me, nobody cared, everyone treated me badly, everyone hurt my feeling, the work is boring and repetitive, nobody cared what I did, what I do or what I am about to do, everyone abandoned me when I needed them the most, everyone complained about what I do, some want to mess me up physically, everyone wants to mess me up mentally. I got moved around like a pawn, I spend more out of my pocket for expense than what the military gave me, and my life is messed up. I do not know how people got through the military, but for me, everyday I am not messed up is a good day in the us military. It would be impossible for me to live in the old military. I should have listened to my parents and not enlisted. I should be a good citizen and do something meaningful with my life. But no, I enlisted and I regret it a lot.

Hey buddy, what's your m.o.s.? Maybe if you reclass you could be happier. I was Intel back in the 90's and a lot of our guys couldn't handle the pressure but reclassed to m.p. or medic and actually enjoyed the rest of their lives. My first duty station after a year of Intel schools was N.T.C., Ft. Irwin, Ca. Let me tell you, that sucked! But never judge the military by your first posting. You get a little time in grade, establish yourself as a hard charging, go to soldier and make a name for yourself. It really does get better. A few promotions, be a team leader, volunteer for extra schools, help out in the arms room or motor pool. Get people to see that you are willing to learn more than just your job and I promise you that your popularity will rise. These are the best years of your life. Make this time count and give it your best and 20 years later you will look back with no regrets.

Air Force rarely offers sign up bonuses. At that point, it’s whichever branch you’d enjoy being in most.
@Late_Night_Talks_Channel4 жыл бұрын
You have to understand that life in the Army truly, truly sucks for lots of MOSs. They even switch peoples MOSs or have them do whatever job until an opening happens in that MOS. With a life like that they need bonuses to make it even considerable.
@Thatbasedcat4 жыл бұрын
@@Late_Night_Talks_Channel I hear you there, it’s always good to pick an occupation that you want to devote your time to. I can’t speak for the other branches of service, but we in the Air Force have experienced record high retention rates this year. Likely due to the invaluable job security and benefits opposed to what we would get in the civilian sector during this pandemic. In consequence however, the Air Force significantly cut back on our retention bonuses so we will so how this plays out next year.
@Late_Night_Talks_Channel4 жыл бұрын
@@Thatbasedcat It's one reason I stay in. But what I meant is that the Army changes peoples MOSs involuntarily. It's written in their contract that they can change your MOS. Jesus was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, and calmed the storm, among many other things. He was killed, and three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus. Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; - Romans 3:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. - John 3:16-18 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. - Psalm 37:8-9

And I have always supported the American People - against the Democrats' and Conservatives' 'Rich People Only' Political Scams of Elitism .. What we, as a Nation, need to return to is the Republican Values inherent in the FOUNDATION of our Nation and of the 244 year pro-Civil Rights heritage of our anti-conservative Republican Party - those values existed, from the very writing of our Declaration of Independence to very last travails of our Nation's Civil Rights Movement .. they began to disappear from the Lincoln Republican Party after General Eisenhower retired from the office of President, in 1961 - and they were completely gone by the Conservative Presidency of George HW Bush .. Equal Rights for Women and Civil and Equal Rights for Blacks, Latinos and Native Americans, plus social programs to help the poor and the needy, were all originally Republican Platforms - Fiscally Conservative and Socially Libertarian Republican platforms - the Republican Party of General Eisenhower never supported Social Conservatism - they supported Social Reform and Civil Rights, bracketed by the Human Rights Protections of our Republican Constitution .. the Democrats, from the earliest days of our Republic, and throughout the 1950s, 1960s and most of the 1970s, OPPOSED Civil Rights for Blacks and Mexicans .. The Republican Party of Civil Rights Reform and Protection that existed in these United States of America, for almost 200 years, must return to protecting the Civil and Equal Rights of all Americans - African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Women, Gays, Lesbians, Children and Poor, Working Class, White Americans.. that is what the REPUBLICAN Party stood for, for 200 years .. Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Eisenhower - all of them ranking in the Top Ten Greatest Presidents in US History - were NOT Conservatives - they were non-conservative, Libertarian REPUBLICANS -- Roosevelt was a Socially Progressive Republican .. Eisenhower protected the Civil Rights of American Minorities - in 1960, in 1956 and all through WW2 during the 1940s -- that is Social Libertarian Republicanism, it is not Conservatism .. Conservative Ideology is not Republican .. and Trump's Ultra Conservative Ideology is completely off the rails and not even close to our Nation's Original, Classic Libertarian Republicanism .. Fiscal Conservatism, yes - a Balanced Budget, yes - pay down of our National Debt, yes - Rebuilding our Working Class and Middle Class Economy, most-definitely, yes - Defense of our Nation, yes, - Support for our Military and our Law Enforcement, yes - protection of our Nation's Security against Invasion by Russia and China, yes - Justice, for innocent Blacks and Latinos wrongly accused, yes .. but we must, as a Nation and a Party, reintegrate Socially Libertarian Republican Values that give all of the American People Freedom and protect our Civil and Equal Rights for everyone -- Every Republican has a Responsibility to be standing, shoulder-to-shoulder, with the Civil Advancements of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr., and General Colin Powell, and protecting and defending the Civil and Equal Rights of Native Americans and Latinos and Blacks, who have been treated like second-class citizens, by our own people, for far too long -- and are still being treated like second-class citizens by former Democrat and Racist Nazi, Donald John Trump .. ~ Vote #BradHartliep #President in November .. #ForTheAmericanPeopleFirst ..

This reminds me of job recruiters when they see you have a lot of experience and good performance reviews, but are willing to work with them for average pay. Job Recruiter: There is a lot of opportunities to quickly grow within our company, and we totally will prepare you to make it to the top. So are you onboard? Me: Nice. Reality: Hey so we got like 5 new projects for you to work on, and we have no idea how to do them. We figured since you been here for 1 year, you probably can figure it out. Oh and you need at least 2 years before you apply for promotion which we rarely offer, so it's super political on who gets it.
