My compliments to the Grand Old Statesman of Architecture, Baron Foster of Thames Bank, for having come up with this beautifully conceived project that vaguely refers in nuances to both the traditional Arab habitat and regional geology in its design while being an intrinsically modernist building. Even this small-scale project has the grandeur of the ancient classical architecture that people crave for these days. And yet it is supposed to be carbon-neutral? We shall see. My warm regards and felicitations for officials of the Kingdom over seeing the Red Sea Global projects. I'm sure they are in the process of ushering in an era of new prosperity for our people _____________ this time from our human, rather than mineral, resources.

Interesting concept, technological advances, and design . But how come they haven't come up with a railway system connecting the airport to the tourism area?

I can't see how this new airport could function as an international hub given that its capacity is set set at 1m passengers per annum. Even Dublin Airport in Ireland, which has only just recently opened a second runway is capped a 32m passengers per annum, Surely 1m passengers per annum would not be economically viable. But then again, if the Saudi Royal Family are footing the bill, who cares about economic viability.

I do not understand how these Middle Eastern countries think they can build luxurious destinations and they expect the people of western countries to flock there in large numbers? They are still a very strict society with terrible human rights (and not to forget there are alcohol free). With all the other choices available without the conservative restrictions, why would anyone travel there?
@reemsafith5178 Жыл бұрын
May I know what specific human rights you are talking about ?? May I also know which country you are from so that I may know whether your country is hundred percent perfect in human rights ? If you are from the US Do you know how many democratic governments the US has toppled ? Do you know how many wars the US has started and how many human rights violations the US has committed ??
@jamesquivey1538 Жыл бұрын
I do not wish to engage in an exchange of points as to Saudi Arabia's human rights record. To state that the United States does terrible things also is no excuse for what is happening there. The intolerance of people who are "different" is inexcusable. I would never go there for fear of losing my head. If that offends you then I am sorry.@@reemsafith5178

They are not begging the westerns to come to the middle East, we have seven continent in the world even if European and Americans decided not to visit Saudi Arabia, which I know they will certainly do😂😂, Asia, Africa will visit Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia has been a destination hub for centuries ago because of the kabba in the holy Land of Mecca and the Medina. so why not now.

At least their money is earned, not printed. Also, they don’t go to other countries and start the war like the others. You’re just jealous because your country is dying😉😜🙃🤣
@stuckinarkansas1 Жыл бұрын
@@honeychiuan8720I'm guessing you believe this person is american. The truth is all of those middle eastern oil producing countries would still be living in the middle ages without the "printed dollar" as well as china. They only have wealth because of America's choice to use that oil instead of their own. North America still has the largest oil reserves in the world, so they didn't need the middle easts. They also funded China because some in American hierarchy believed it was important to have more than one super power. As far as a dying country, America's wealth is still nearly twice the nearest competitor and 15 to 100 times wealthier than any other so called modern countries, including the middle easts. As far as american interventionalism? It did serve a purpose, but has definitely worn out it's welcome. The great majority of Americans want it to stop also, we would be happy if our money stayed here instead of trying to fix the rest of the world. Ya'all want to grow up and fend for yourselves and we're all for it.
