I went to town on my 2012 Ram last month. I was tired of not seeing an engine. I got rid of the AC lines( I don't use AC) , I got rid of the big fan shroud, got rid of the clutch fan and added a 2012 V6 Ram electric fan. I already had gotten rid of the big ugly plastic box for the air filter.I also got rid of the AC / transmission cooler and replaced it with a Mishimoto universel automatic transmission cooler. What a nice view now.

First car was not what I drove first. It was my dad's Lincoln Continental in the Connecticut snow, starting in a parking lot. In CT they did nothing but plow roads that school buses use. When I was in TN, they did nothing at all. You were always driving out of your lane because you could never see it under the snow. Besides, most of the paint had worn off anyway. Anyhow, that is how I started until I moved to WA and took Drivers Ed. in HS. It has saved my life several times.

My husband took care of things for me. But since he was killed, I'm trying to learn and take care of things on my own. You were talking about oil on video. I was wondering if high mileage oil is really good for autos with high mileage. Or is that just a gimmick to get you to buy it? Just was wondering if it was really worth buying and if it would make a difference. I wish I had someone like you around here that would be honest and not try to just take me for my money as I have had one do. My truck has 167,000 miles and I want to do my best to take care of it and didn't know if high mileage oil would be any better than regular oil. Thank you!

Any name brand name oil, including Super Tech is fine for proper 5k changes. My oil stop, Walmart, goes between synthetics Pennzoil and Castrol and I haven't had ANY problems. They follow a specific procedure, and never push a new air filter either. Full and correct automatic transmission fluid is critical. Low fluid can reduce pressure on the pressure plates that engage the clutches, and composition of the fluid affects the friction between the plates.

Both Walmart and Costco source their oil from Warren Oil Company. That is who supplies most of the construction industry oil trucks. Those companies cannot afford to risk heavy equipment engines on inferior oil. Those can easily cost more than an average person's annual income to rebuild. I have used that oil for decades with stellar results.

2007 Maxima 3.5l makes this Knocking sound when revving low uphill (1400rpm-1600rmp); Fuel cap says PREMIUM , but I'm using 87 octane. Yall know if switching to 91 would fix the sound? Trans and motor oil has less than 600 miles.
