Don't drink and drive yall. Coming from a 17 year old, just dont. Ive been in a car after my father was drinking heavily and he drove me home and all i can say is that i was terrified. No accident happened after but being sober and around it is terrifying. Peoples lose their lives too often because someone was drunk and decided to drive. No one should lose their life over it.

Ahh so your father in law was one of those people. Unfortunately I know exactly that kind of person. The kind of person that throws logic out the window in lieu of what they want. For me that ended up with being homeless for a couple months. So glad it worked out a bit better for you. Also congrats on getting married. Hope your wedding is amazing.

Ouch. Well my sympathies because I've been through it. IDK how some people can justify their actions when it results in harming people. I'm glad you're doing much better now though. The best thing people like us can do is to put as much distance between the people that harmed us and ourselves as possible, especially when they show no remorse for their actions.

I lost my brother at a young age to a drunk driver, I’m so happy that you and your family are upstanding about that kind of thing! Many people don’t think twice about it, but it ruined my family and I hate when people think it’s okay if they’re just a little drunk.

Yes. Please don't drink and drive. I need tell you a personal experience so you can prevent it: My mom was/is an alcoholic and has mentally hurt me. Anyway when she's drunk, she usually thinks it's morning time even though it's night time and she picked me up. I can always tell when mom has been drinking when she leans over to the road and her breath. Anyway back to the main story of why it's important not to drink and drive. Back in my freshman year of high school (it was in January, very cold and there was still ice on the road.) my mom woke me up late and told me it was time to go to school. I looked out and it was 8:00 a.m. and I was really late. So my mom rushed me out of the house and she drove even faster than before. We were exiting our subdivision and she drove fast until the car swirled and crashed into a ditch. Luckily my mom and I were okay, but I had to stay at home for a week because of the lack of transportation and till this day, I'm still shaken about that moment. But yes, please be careful on the road. Sure people can't get along with others for (insert reason here) but I don't want a death be a tragic moment for anyone and their family. I know this comment is old, but she can't walk there. She had said 'To get INTO town it's a 30 minute drive' while talking about how the others said that they'd go and buy candy. So it'd probably be an hour drive there and back. You really can't walk that far.

So, my worst Halloween was definitely last year. Now, I'm still a little kid at heart, so I love me some Halloween candy. Issue is, last year, people didn't think I needed it. My family knows that I'm a kid and I'm not too old to go trick or treating, but apparently in everyone elses eyes I'm just a short 16 year old girl. So, my mother and my older brother took me, and my cousins (who we'll call Dorathy and Molly) trick or treating. We decided to go to "down town" where they do this huge Halloween event. Every store gives out candy to kids and there's even a free professional photo op. So, Dorathy, the youngest of us three and dressed as Harley Quinn, immediately runs off to the first store she sees. Molly, the oldest and dressed as a warrior princess, grabs my arm and pulls me with her as she runs off to catch up with Dorathy. I was dressed as an underpaid secretary (inspired by a roleplay with a few friends of mine) So anywho, we continue on and we get our candy and stuff and Molly and I are noticing that out of the three of us, we had been getting a lot of like... Granola bars and little caramels and stuff. We were really confused. We continue on, Dorathy getting more goods than us, they got their photo taken together, etcetera. So, we get back to the car (my feet killing me from walking in heels all night) and we drop the girls off at their house. When we get home, my mom looks at me and says "I'm not taking you trick or treating next year." I was confused so I asked her why and her reply was "you just got granola bars. Rarely did you get any ACTUAL candy. You look too old, and I'm not gonna be taking the time to explain to people that you're only (not gonna say my age) so that you won't be disappointed." So yeah. My worst Halloween was my last, same as my worst birthday party, which is a story for another day. But yeah, honestly, yours is the adult equivalent to mine, in my eyes😂

Atarashi Noto oof. I don’t really care the age, as long as they’re having fun and put some effort in the costume. If it’s any help, you could wear a mask or face paint or something so that it’s harder to pick out your face and judge your age. Sucks that people discriminate. One year I cut out some cardboard and made a pac-man costume and I can guarantee I got a lot of good stuff. But I also look twelve, soooooo.... Also, maybe if you didn’t go to the big places you might be able to get more? I find that the big places always have the little candy because they have so many people going through, so it’s easier to discriminate. Giving out candy is always fun though ;) seeking kids’ faces light up when you hand them a full-size candy bar is priceless to me.

Last year was definitely the worst for me. During October i had to go to a camp over Halloween. At the time I thought it was fine I had my costume and we’d be doing something so it’s wouldn’t be so bad right? No. We had to go on a hike/scavenger hunt at night. Being a scared of the dark this was my N I G H T M A R E. I remember clinging onto my friend terrified and she had to comfort me. I never wanted to be at the end of lines and a girl yelled at me for it. Then by the end of the night we got 9 pieces of candy which a few girls were stealing. I was pissed for the rest of the week. Also congratulations on your wedding! Hope it’s amazing 💞
