I think most of these videos are from the upper-Midwest (WI mostly). Outside of the inner cities the cops in WI seem to do amazingly calm and they generally avoid force and try to defuse the situation. They also seem more likely to take a small amount of personal risk to avoid physical confrontations. Go watch some civil rights lawyer videos and any of us would pay to have this cop at our next traffic stop. This guy is truly a breath of fresh air. I wish they would post the officer’s names. A few of the officers on this channel deserve a “thanks for being a good human” note not and again.

I’m pretty anti-police and anti-state by nature but this cop was solid. I’ll give credit where it’s due. Ready to go but patient and calm. He should be featured in nationwide training for cops.
@enid0mom21 күн бұрын
@@gagegrIt is hard to make a judgement if you have never seen city cops work to believe they would generally be any more or less professional. Law enforcement officers are really just ordinary people with families, bills to pay, kids to get to school or take off work to take them to the doctor. Some go to church regularly, some don’t. I know this because I have worked with law enforcement. I worked with one officer who had a son with a congenital disease that meant he would never live independently. I saw a video yesterday of some officers who responded to a call from a woman afraid she was going to hurt her kids, a newborn and a 4 year old. They took her to the hospital and she was later released. They got another call from the address, and knew immediately it was really bad. The same officers responded as the previous call and one of the officers had changed a stinky diaper on the infant on the first. He was the first to look in the bassinet and see what no one should see. They didn’t show the infant of course, but they told the responding ambulance that he was covered with bruises and bleeding from the eyes. He practically screamed and started crying. It shook him to his core. Officers see things no one should ever have to see. There definitely are bad cops but cops have quit protecting other cops like they used to. That is why some cops hop from agency to agency. The cop who murdered George Floyd, and the ones that didn’t stop him and all other cops now face consequences. It is also very dangerous for a former law enforcement officer to be in prison for obvious reasons.

Most of all, I heard a lot of calm communication in a tense situation (even through the initial adrenaline rush, he didn't let it control him), when 95% of officers/departments would be screaming their heads off and angling for their chance to give Skyler a beating. This officer is obviously a thoughtful person, also he mentions new training which they are getting and value implementing. @lilpenguin092 he was charged with fleeing an officer. Could you acknowledge that the guy was actually right about everything thing he said? All that gaslighting, and he only catches 1 charge and continues to call out what the cop are actually about way before they actually do it. Let's be honest with ourselves: Was this guy at any time an actual threat, or were the cops in ego overload? They destroyed everything he had in his possession that day, and he only got 1 charge. Do you not see how they tied him up and continued to show aggressive behavior just because he was trolling them? They never wanted to hurt him, but he was actually right about everything. We can continue to gaslight this young man for being mentally unstable or maybe step back and take a look at what he said and how it's an overall trend across law enforcement and how they treat anyone who won't comply. Again, I never once saw the "suspect " do anything aggressive or disrespectful once to any officer, but I did witness law enforcement being aggressive and rude to someone who was just having a hard time. Remember, this was all over an accusation of a speed violation, but I did see that charge on his report. Also, remember the officer were in fear of their life and had to destroy everything to prove themselves wrong. Do I believe that the young man could have dealt with this differently? Absolutely. I also believe that law enforcement can deal with things differently as well. He was right when he told the cop , just because you have a badge, you can write whatever you want on that ticket, and the cop responded, "That's right🤦♂️ Does ☝️ quote the officer made make you feel more confident in police ethics codes and comments like that should be addressed? Do you think if a cop even jokes about something like that it in fact, takes away from their integrity? My honest answer is Yes It's one thing to have a biased opinion about police but to be biased and ignorant is a dangerous thing
@billwilson6725Ай бұрын
@@ScottyPimpinATL then be less ignorant?
@ScottyPimpinATLАй бұрын
@billwilson6725 Could you actually pinpoint a trait of ignorance, or will you continue to shill with a simp response. We both watched the same video, so either we did or did not see the same thing I mentioned. The entire stop was very consistent with everything people would like less of in police. I think if you could just articulate how half of what the police activated was nessasry, I feel like we could meet in the middle ground of understanding each other. He had no weapons, and he had no indication of being in possession of a weapon ✅️ He wasn't sited for speeding ✅️ He wasn't in possession of drugs✅️ He wasn't a risk to others or himself, ever✅️ He was reaisted and never charged with resisting arrest ✅️ He was cordial and polite with everyone and never showed aggressive behavior ✅️ Oh, ok, so the big tactical vehicle was absolutely nessasry. I do get your point, and yanking the guys hoodie string out was nessasry as well. Mater of fact, it was so nessasry that they never actually committed him into a psych ward. Aggressively pulling of his shoes, and the young man never even shows any intent to harm anyone. They shoved his head forcefully down to convince you that he needed to be treated that way. Damn you are right ✅️ I will never question ethics when it comes to interacting with bad people like this: bad man, bad, scary man, bad, scary, bad man

There probably are some "ladies" out there who would match up! Did you see the gal that sped & fled because she was running out of gas and had to get to the gas station as quickly as possible!

I was a cop for 21 years. I like how they made us sit through part of the hospital visit. Many times did I sit in the emergency room with a prisoner who suddenly was dying after being arrested. Basically once you find a problem person like this, you are going to be stuck with them for the next several hours listening to them ramble on.

As someone trying to become a cop now I hate that I believe you. But I worked in corrections first and oh my sweet Jesus the amount of times a 12 hour turned into a 17 or so because of a “medical emergency” minutes before shift change just for the doctor to say nah it’s fake give him ipbrofen take him back
