As a metal head who mostly listens to Metalcore I go with my first request in a completely different direction. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Fauzia's "live" rendition of "Für Elise." It's a reimagined take on Ludwig van Beethoven's masterpiece, which was discovered posthumously, now embellished with stunning lyrical vocals. Should you decide to give it a listen, I definitely recommend the "live" version for a true display of her extraordinary vocal control, far surpassing the simplified official recordings. Although it undergoes significant post-production, similar to the previous always to prefer "Stripped" versions, it stands out as a remarkable showcase, eclipsing the simplified official releases. Thank you and you team for all the great content and hard work!

The Charismatic Voice, could you please do more reactions to FAOUZIA. Her ability to write/compose/sing/play multiple instruments makes her quite uniquely uncomparable to most musical artists, in my opinion. All her music is musically interesting, but her stripped down versions of her music, allow you to hear more of the uniquely specialness of her voice. It's amazing that she's never had a vocal lesson, she's self taught. Since you're also an impressive musical artist/singer and Interested in other musical artists voices, I think you'll enjoy her unique musical artistry. :-)

If you haven’t followed her, Faouzia’s Amazon Music live version of “Anybody Else” or “RIP, Live” are stripped, acoustic versions. Just her and piano. You can really see and hear her. I was at one of her concerts last year, and she had a much brighter voice than I was expecting. If her first language is Arabic, it seems that that really influenced her ability in her lower range, especially with producing nice open sounds when she’s down around E3.

Lovely seeing your reactions to multiple genres! I heard you liked weird instruments as well, in that case check out Patty Gurdy, she plays the hurdy gurdy and sings. Her independence in hands/voice are very easy to see in her one-take version of Sweet Dreams. She has an amazing background and can sing nearly everything! On her new album she included an opera duet (Flower duet from Lakmé) which she arranged for her voicetype and instrument, but she usually has more rock-vibe going on. Her song "Run", especially the live version in Lexington is one I can wholeheartedly recommend. I can also highly recomment Larkin Poe, they're two sisters playing everything from blues to rock and in between, and Rebecca has the most amazing voice I've heard, kind of comparable to a rock-like version of Haley Reinhart. Her sister Megan does the backing vocals. I really recommend any of the songs from their tip o' the hat series, which are stripped down covers of classics, usually with just their two voices, a guitar, lap steel, and some stomping/clapping/fingersnapping.

You should take a look at some of the songs Riot Games have made (strange sentence there, but it is a correct). They've a metal "band" called Pentakill. A multinational K-Pop group called KD\A. They've produced songs with lyrics for skin lines (Star Guardian has even an 'anime opening' song and one or two 'short movies' of less than 5 minutes). It's quite impressive what they can get out of their singers and the styles that they can emulate/make. Along those lines... I'd suggest KD\A's Villain (which is sung by "Evelyn" and is sort of an origin song; actually sung by Madison Beers and Kim Petras), TRUE DAMAGE's Giants (a pop/rap/R&B 'super-group'), and Pentakill's Frozen Heart (or Mortal Reminder).

Thank you so much Elizabeth for bringing this singer to my attention and for giving us your very interesting and intelligent reaction to Faouzia. This is my first time hearing this lady. Although the song itself isn't something that I'd pay much attention to I do greatly admire her voice. My greatest complaint is the video itself seems to actually detract from the singer as it keeps flashing from one scene to another. I found that annoying. I think I'd enjoy it much better if she were in a live setting with the camera simply focused on her the entire song. Cheers, Steve

I totally agree with those who suggest the stripped version is much, much better. She has the chops to back up this song, without the excessive autotune, which is used here in places to try to make her vibrato sound as if she were trying to use quarter tones. She does use quarter tones intentionally in places in the stripped version, but in a more natural way. It's a great song by a very talented singer, but the post production on this version nearly completely masks her true talent behind a heavy-handed producer.

I hope you do listen to it stripped, even if you don't make a video on it. If I had a recommend another one I'd say listen to This Mountain, acoustic version.
