Some of those power poses are out of necessity. She has recently relearned to sing with her new voice, and in order to support her singing voice she has to ground herself and sing from her core. I see a lot of diaphragm support and a healthier technique out of her now., but yes she smartly incorporates some great poses into the technique of support.

Must be a generation thing. Zombie is such a bland melancholy song. Not sure why so many people listing to Heart of glass draw a line to zombie. Miley's energy and stage presence isn't even comparable between the two songs.
