Back in the day we raced a 69 nova full steel body 4000 lbs. We ran stock 12 and 10 bolts. We found the 10 bolts to be stronger and lasted longer. Car ran mid 9’s carrying the wheels to almost 60’. We painted lines on the axles and would inspect them every few passes.

That specialty exhaust really makes the smoke billow out. It went from smoke coming straight out from the back of the car to fanning it out. Better effect for Independence and the crowd will love it. Now the question is will the crowd be able to see the car with that effect as he spins around?

It's funny when you look at the letters on the tires as they go around they go different directions at different speeds. That little hat on carb is a huge restriction on a na motor. But force induction will be different especially on ethanol. Be safe , good work on the head phones for ear protection.
