Improvisation is some good in Taiko mapping right? But in the guidelines it says that it should be clear what musical layer is being followed. I don't understand if I can map to whatever sound I hear or if I should stick to one instrument for parts of the song. Impovisation makes it seem like I could make my own rythms that suits one part of the song and basically combine all the different musical layers in the song.

Think of it like jamming out on a drum kit irl. Basically, you can do whatever as long as it makes sense

Is a pattern of a note on a beat, no note on the next beat, and a note on the beat after considered a 2/1 break or a 1/1 break?
@DefaultGuy13 жыл бұрын
If there's a white line in between them, that would be a 2/1 break. If there isn't a white line, its a 1/1. In this case, this would be a 1/1, since there are notes in first beat, no notes in the seconds and notes in the third.

Would a slider/spinner count as “continuous mapping” or would it count as a break
@DefaultGuy13 жыл бұрын
It counts as continuous mapping.
