This is properly amazing. To give that much time and to put that much effort in to keeping your bird occupied and stimulated is absolutely fantastic. I mean yes, this lady might have the time, but she doesn't have the health, and yet she knows what he needs in order to be a healthy birdy and so she does what he needs and enjoys. And ofc then there is the bond building. Honestly, if only every owner could be this invested in their animals welfare and wellbeing. I really hope this lovely lady is able to get a handle on her chronic illness/inflammation, bless her. And I hope that she and her furry flying surrogate son have many a happy year together. Charlie is adorable. But then I am partial to birds as I have been a bird owner for the last 23 yrs after losing my almost 16 yr old Pomeranian passing away. I have a 23 yr old rescued cockatiel whom I have not trained but can still talk a little when the mood strikes him and he does give me kisses when I ask him. I also have two new parakeets as my other parakeet died Aug 25 and he was only 5 yrs old. I am disabled and over 70 and having pets gives a person will to live longer.
