Beardies are sooo cool. I've had snakes and lizards. People never believe that they are silly, smart, and affectionate, but they really can be. Getting love from a mini dinosaur is a guarantee mood lifter for sure ❤.

@@LBdreamin My sister owns 2 bearded dragon. They have a designated pooping spot and they will run to that spot to do their thing. They will throw a fit if they need to poop and you are stopping them from going there.

​@@john-sp8jk Depends on the species, the owner and individual temperament. Some lizards are larger, have sharper claws, stronger bites and nastier temperaments. Some are more hands-off than others. Iguanas are notorious for tail whipping their owners hard when in a bad mood. Anoles are physically incapable of causing harm given their size and bite force. Beardies are capable of biting hard, but they are reluctant to do so, and when they eat, they eat "tongue first," so they use a short, but sticky tongue to grab onto food and take it into their mouths. They can have sharp claws, but if they're kept on a trimming schedule and have access to stones or tiles to keep them filed down, you don't have to worry about that. The research and care you put into an animal will reflect in their longevity, temperament and owner safety.

They eat them in the wild. They'll climb trees and knock them down for their squad when they roll together at times 20 or more deep. They'll often zig zag criss cross eachother running to confuse predators.

I had a dragon named stumpy. I got him when he was 3 after being found in a partially wet tank in a pet store that had been closed for over a month. He was surrounded by other animals that had passes. He lost several toes and his tail hence the name. They told me due to all the trauma he wouldn't live to more than 6 or 7.He was my best friend. I had him until he was almost 14 years old and I still cry over him all the time. They are the best pets. We would do the head bob back and forth. He would come when I called him and he was hilarious eating crickets and worms. I miss you big guy❤❤❤

That's horrible. I can't believe they would just leave the animals there and neglect them if the store closed. It probably only lived because it was a bearded dragon and I'm no expert but I don't think they require much food and water and can go for long periods of time without.

If I was away and my sister took care of her, she would eat like normal but she wasn't as social with her. When she heard my voice, she always ran to me, so I could pick her up.

Reptiles can be very affectionate with their owners, i adopted a rattlesnake egg and raised him, his name was Spot and he would wrap himself around my arm and just chill there and i trained him to shake his rattle when i was playing guitar, took me 2 years and several bites but it was worth it
