This one has me with tears running down my face. When I was a teenager, my uncle worked at a golf course and found a litter of kittens (eyes were still closed) whose mother had been hit by a car. Only one of the kittens was still alive when he found them. I was being homeschooled at the time, so he gave the kitten to me to take care of until she was old enough for a forever home. I certainly didn’t know her forever home was with me. I wouldn’t have given her up for a million dollars, so I can’t even imagine how hard it is for these people to foster. 12 years later, she’s still with me, and she’s been with me through everything. She also just knocked a jar of makeup brushes off my desk... Love my girl 💕 lol

I have always been a puppy person until my sister adopted a kitty. She’s a sassy tiny black cat. I named her Salem for the past 6 months shes been sleeping with me and waits for me to get home from work at night so we can go to sleep together. I have 8 baby orphaned kittens, from 2 abandoned litters, that I rescued at 5 and 10 days old. I thought a few of them weren’t going to make it. I’m happy to say that all 8 are happy, healthy and growing bigger everyday! They’re now 5 and 6 weeks old! 💖

Here I am sitting in my loving room, crying. I found a day old kitten alone near my home and I swear i checked on him every hour to see if his mom would take him and thankfully she did. I swear I felt like I could breathe again after his mom took him. It's hard to see such small creatures being alone. I cant imagine her pain and struggle.

Hi. So today I was feeling really depressed about going to my bio dad's house and I just felt like I was going to cry. I was in the car just staring out the window and I just couldn't talk because I was so upset. I came home and I walked in. I just sat at the couch and my mom knew I was sad but she didn't want to make it worse so she walked away. I felt like I couldn't do anything and I didn't want to leave. Then the most amazing thing happened. My cat jumped onto the couch and walked over to me. He never really comes to me because I'm like a competitor for him. But he walked to where I was sitting and I almost cried when he sat and rubbed his face on my arm. He never does that even when I call for him or when I pick him up to sit by me. He purred and put his paws on my leg and I pet him. He stepped onto my lap and lied down. I pet him and he purred. He's 13 and he still acts like the kitten that has been with me for 9 and a half years. I love him so much. All of my depression and sadness just melted away. He looked at me and closed his eyes, which means 'I love you' in cat language. No other cat I will ever get will replace him when he passes away. ❤️

I am going throughout a difficult situation. I have always rescue animals; dogs and cats. I have two mixed Chihuahuas one pure Chihuahua one pit bull and one cat. I need to move to live with my son in Dallas, he only has a rwo bedrooms townhouse has two cays and a dog, he is telling me,, mom we will be ok, i know it is not ok for so mamy pets, soo i have to think a lot, can't decided what to do.!

This one hits home for me. I found a baby Siamese kitten in the pharmacy parking lot once, maybe 3-4 weeks old. Little guy was half frozen (there was still snow on the ground). I held him against my chest and warmed him with my hands. He was so cold I was afraid to leave him even for a few minutes so I took him into the store with me to get him some food and a bed. He finally warmed up and snapped out of it and now we're best buds. Now he follows me around everywhere like a dog, I'm never alone. Hands down the coolest cat I've ever owned. I'm SO glad I saw the little guy, and to think he almost died and the world almost went without his awesome personality.

I think that being "foster parents" to four legged babies is such a great thing. Sure, you get attached, how can you not be, when you become responsible for another life, but watching them grow, and becoming the fuzzy child that they are supposed to be, and the perfect family adopts them, wow, that must be the most awesome feeling in the world, just knowing that you made an impact on that life.
