Code 20EE comes up on my truck. Every few months or so, the check engine light comes on and that’s the code. I changed the NOX sensor a year ago and it stayed off for a few months. What might still be tripping the code?

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I also wanted to ask if there’s anything I should do to make the truck more bulletproof. I was thinking I’ll just wait until things break, if they break and replace with something better. Like CPX pump if the fuel pump goes (I do already have a DPK), aluminum and silicone cold side pipe if the plastic pipe goes, etc.I just changed the CCV box at 50,000 miles with an updated Ford box. I was thinking of deleting it. 2017 F250 anything else I should consider?

I have had P207F a number of times and always make it a point to record NCCE before starting any repairs or diag. That way it can be compared to NCCE afterward. I to have fixed P207F with NOX 11 and 12 . Based on what you were saying about NOX11 dropping to zero that may make DEF injector duty cycle go down and not inject correct amount of reluctant causing this concern

On my 2016 F350 180,000 miles on her she is on her 3rd DEF heater 2 from Amazon and the 3rd from Ford and it was served with sand paper the price hurt. 2.5 hours later driving home get the code P20E8 finely with 10 miles before limp mode she cleared. Thanks for sharing AROD

Never had that specific code but did have one similar in a Detroit DD15 that was speed limited to 50mph when the def doser tip literally cracked off in its housing. Our company shop techs still aren’t exactly sure how that happened on a tractor that had less than 15000 miles and was barely 2 months old other than maybe bad QC from Detroit due to Covid.

My DEF Doser and both NOx sensors are Standard Automotive..Had to be replaced @ 62,250 miles..Previous owner ran 37 in tires on 20” rims..I said screw that noise and went stock sized rims/tires..Stuff has to run the way it was designed to run.

Every single time I fix a P207 code it comes back the following winter without fail but it doesn't derate me unless I try to fix it and it doesn't like the part and I learned it doesn't reset unless def tank is full

What is the normal rate for a regen to occur on the 2016 model. Say the truck is driving 70mph with no trailer/load. My truck seems to regen quite frequently but I don’t have any loss of power or check engine light. If it’s starting to regen more frequently do you think this could be early signs of issues?

My 2015 regens every tank of fuel now. 245k miles, original dpf/doc. It has affected the fuel mileage, truck barely gets 14mpg. Drops drastically while it’s burning. Local company cleans them by way of cutting them in half and rewelding. Poor design on Fords part by not being able to separate it.

just two days ago i got the P207F-00-58 on my 2016. cleared in with forscan and its been 200 miles later and still good. the truck did go into regen before the check engine light came on and it went into regen after i cleared the code. the second regen i got into I94 doing 80mph for a full regen cycle. hopefully the code wont come back the next time it goes into regen.

Your NOx12 reading 73 with 11 being at 130 is below spec efficiency. NOx12 should be at 0-10ppm during level cruise. I got a write-up from my FSE with recommended data to see before and after SCR repairs.
