Ahh! I have so many questions and comments! First, this was absolutely brilliant. You’re like the English Mr Rodgers by the sea - your voice is so calming and you make even seaweed interesting - that’s magical! Questions: are the sucker fish bloodsuckers? They reminded me a lot of leeches. I bet they’ve scared more than one tourist! The thong weed was fascinating- are there uses for that? Maybe dried out? I am genuinely surprised by the size of lobsters you can collect down there on the beach....is that testimony to the success of Fisheries management? Loved that Cornish Sucker...what a star ❤️👍😁

- It truly is testament to the fisheries management of the area. We have a larger minimum landing size than most areas ( ours being 90mm and most others being 87mm ) and conscientious fishermen. 😊👍🏻🦞🦀

I have only recently discovered you videos, which I quite enjoy watching, have never heard of dipping them in melted butter, I quite like them in a white cheese sauce, same with scallops. One thing I notice you don't seem to do, is eat the legs, which we rip into when we are having a feast. I really enjoy the colours your lobsters have, in New Zealand we don't have any with the claws, only the spiny crayfish, which do taste very nice.

I have actually seen that your Crays ( Spiny rock lobsters ) do have larger legs. The meat in our lobster legs is like paste.
