There are a couple of things that I want to say here. First, I can’t imagine the difficulties and challenges that you face with your illness and I appreciate you sharing with your viewers a glimpse of that part of yourself. Second, I have been a practicing green witch for over almost 35 years, and just want to say, that I love to see the younger generation’s fresh new take on the different ways that they practice. You have created for yourself a gentle and beautiful pathway. Third, I really enjoy your videos; absolutely gorgeous, calming, and I can tell you are putting your heart and soul into these videos. Keep it up girl, you are doing fabulous. Blessed Be. ❤️

Seeing another witch with Ehlers-Danlos talking, even a little bit, about the challenges of shared food and dislocations got me emotional. I so rarely see other people who live this way. I love how calming this video is, you're really inspiring me to live a more "green" life in small ways. Also, thank you for sharing your experience about your condition. I like how you shared that you still try to share in meals with others despite your condition. I've never heard of it before, but I can vaguely relate as I have a condition that makes my bowels reject a lot of food groups that other people can eat. Sometimes it is hard to share meals with others because there are a lot of things that hurt me and are present in many foods. Hearing your experience put that into perspective for me but also gave me ideas on how I can still enjoy meals with others that I may not be able to eat myself. Thank you! Blessed be! Edit: a word

I have always been curious but raised Baptist and Methodist. I was finding myself in a crisis of ‘faith’ in the mid-‘80s and cried out in my mind “if there really is a God, just give me a sign.” After a while I realized I was getting an answer form the trees around me, “We’ve always been right here.” So, Druid? I quickly resolved to take a serious look into witchcraft, which I have always been interested in. This finally felt like “home.”

As someone with the goal of being vegan: I've been working towards it from eating like a normal Texan for like six years. It's a different journey for everyone and anything helps. I hate that so many people in my community take the severity of the issue and run with it. It might be a problem but it's unrealistic to expect anyone to be educated, sustainably healthy, or to go cold turkey when there is so much gatekeeping and shaming within the extreme parts of the community. It flushes out all of the ACTUALLY useful and very immediately actionable info when the KZbin feed is all Instagram vegans that eat less than 1400 calories a day and extremists that call meat eaters out instead of being kind. 🥺😔
@k_a_y_l_e_e4 жыл бұрын
i used to be vegan but sadly had to go back to eating meat (oddly enough, for health reasons lol). it's not my favorite thing, but it is what it is and i always remember to live in gratitude while eating my meals. i never understood the judgment surrounding people's personal diets. the hostility in some communities surrounding the ways and what we eat is so strange.
@Red-fg9qr4 жыл бұрын
More than being vegan or not, it's how you eat your meals, if it's animal based atleast make sure the animals you're consuming were treated correctly and were killed with the least pain possible. Sure you won't know if a pig was treated correctly because a pig is not kosher, however when it's a cow if it says Kosher then you're making sure the animal was treated correctly. If you're eating eggs, atleast make sure you're getting them from a local farmer and not mass produced ones. As you all know, intention matters. If someone wants to be vegan, great job, I respect it. If someone doesn't want to be vegan, I respect it too. You do you.

You are doing what you need to do in your life, which is perfectly fine. Also, you are incredibly lucky your parents and family supported you when they found out you are a witch. I am a secular Zen Buddhist and when my family found out I was ridiculed, bullied and ignored as if I didn't even exist. It was a difficult thing to go through, but I became stronger and learned a lot through all that. It makes me happy to hear other families are more supportive though.

I know this video is older but your videos are a kind of “comfort show” for me. I watch them all the time. I recently went though a pretty hard time and I didn’t work for a year... I have a job interview this week. It’s not the big fancy career I was doing before I had to quit working but... it’s a part time job at a retail store to start getting me back around people. Seeing how awesome you are and how calm you are has helped me more than you know. I’m chaotic and anxious a lot and learning how to stop and breathe through your videos as an inspiration has really helped. At least to us, you make the things you go through seem like learning experiences and just that method of dealing and that way of thinking really is valuable. I’ve identified as a witch for 11 years but I’ve never had the ability to focus and breathe and ground myself. Idk if you ever feel exhausted from what you do (even though I’m sure you love it) but I wanted to let you know how much you’ve changed my life. I know that sounds corny but I’m serious. I’m really nervous about this week and being around the world again but I’m being more positive and I’m sure I’ll be okay. Thanks for teaching me how to be better, even if you didn’t know you did.

I find it very interesting that people would get mad about honey being used. I am a beekeeper myself and honestly my babies are happy, and I always do what is best for them in terms of harvesting, or not harvesting, or feeding, and if you want honey that comes from beekeepers who do the same, just buy honey at like a farmer's market, where you can get it straight from a local beekeeper.

For those who are interested in Herbalism, I work as a homework reviewer for Rosemary Gladstar. Her books are amazing and she has a beginner book out that would be a good place to start. Becoming an Herbalist 27 years ago was life-changing for me and also led me to the path of Paganism. You'll be amazed how many of those wild weeds growing in your yard are fantastic medicine. As a former librarian, once libraries are open again, ask them for different plant id books and herbal medicine books and find the ones you like the most. I'm learning a lot about gastroparesis since my daughter's boyfriend has it-- linked to his Type 1 diabetes.

Thank you for this video, I had another bad therapy session today, I'm even thinking of quitting and finding a new therapist and the stress of that idea has been gnawing at me. It's lovely to sit and watch this video and feel like I'm safe again

Dear Annabel, I started watching your videos only about 2 -3 days ago. This is your other channel. This was the first video I watched in this channel. I just want to say that I really love your honesty and truthfulness. These are some of the very few incredibly fascinating qualities a human being can possess. Thank you for your kindness and love. I can really feel it. I want to wish you all the very best. May you be truely well and happy :)

I loved this! I didn’t get to ask a question on time, but I’m absolutely in love with the chalice cup you’ve planted in, I’m dying to see it close up and know what you’ve planted in it. 💕

The fact that I came to KZbin this morning and saw a video update from you, that just made my whole day. I love you channel and you make my witch heart happy. I'm glad you address the fact that your path is ever changing because I have often felt that way as well and I have a weird mind set when it come to religions (mostly from Christian family guilt) and I'm slowly over coming it but listening to this video helped me a lot

Just one more spoonie (chronic illness) voice chiming in to tell you that your choices are valid. No one should shame you for your food choices and no one should assume to know your particular circumstances. Love and Light.

NP here, I studied ED syndrome and found it very interesting! I share gastropraesis- not quite to this level but not far. I am interested in all forms of health and wellness and look forward to hearing more about herbalism. Thank you for sharing 💝

Omg I have gastroparesis too! I can’t tell you how many times I went to the hospital being told it was just gas before I luckily had a doctor that knew what it was. The worst pain ever for HOURS leaving you so exhausted when it’s over. I have had kidney stones and I think it’s worse than that. Luckily through changing my diet once I found out I have now been over a year without a flair up.
