Around 20 years ago I was telling friends in IRC chat that to be careful that the government had programs in place to 'flag' certain words for further investigation. I had studied programming then and understood how easy it would be to do such things. They called me crazy back then. After Snowden let the truth be known I was no longer crazy.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, complicated business." As one famous person said. The book this video is based on is absolutely free to read so if you are interested, links are in the description. The Hated One Great video explaining the connections of A.I. SOPHIA which means Wisdom and it means Rebirth. When we look up the meaning of Baphomet in Hebrew it's translation to Greek means Sophia. BitChute is cool, but it's a platform that I'm afraid can't scale. What's your thoughts on LBRY? Any reason for dismissing it?
@TheHatedOne
@TheHatedOne 6 жыл бұрын
I am not dismissing it I am just not convinced to dedicate extra time and resource to migrate to their platform yet. I want a platform that millions of people want to use because it's great and not because they are censored by other platforms. All these new platforms are just capitalizing on privacy issues and free speech but in the long run that's not enough. Each time there's going to be someone claiming they have the right recipe for a censorship-free and privacy minded platform and they will want me to switch to them.
@cataclysmichael
@cataclysmichael 6 жыл бұрын
It's definitely still early and LBRY is not ready for prime time yet. There are a lots of promises from the new platforms, but a common issue I see is scaling, it's not enough that millions want to use the platform, the platform has to be able to handle it. LBRY is one of the few who seem to have that issue solved, in fact, the more people the better for the network, it's also not just a platform, it's a protocol.

We are living in a cyber punk world right now. Corporations rule the world and Inequality has never been worse, democracy is now a competition on who can buy the most votes. Hired mercenaries now fight wars anonymously on behalf of governments and corporations.

Your videos are so nice, so well-made and the content, text is very elaborate. I don´t know why you don´t have hundreds of thousands or millions of subscriptions. Go figure ! I intend to create a channel to talk about these and other things I think people should think about it, but perhaps it´s too many work for such a few feedback, so I always postpone it. Lacks motivation. Good luck to you.
@TheHatedOne
@TheHatedOne 6 жыл бұрын
The best approach to do these things is to love doing them so much that you would do them no matter what. Even if no one is watching, even if it's not convenient and advertiser-friendly, even if doesn't make a fortune. Sometimes markets need shifting. Henry Ford once said something along the lines: "if I asked what they needed they'd say they want a faster horse." When he invented cars, there was no market for cars. In other words, they may not be the market for this kind of content but it still might be the right thing to do in the long run.
@DihelsonMendonca
@DihelsonMendonca 6 жыл бұрын
Yes, I agree with you, the best approach is to make what you love without expecting any feedback. When Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were at the beginning of their journey, they were not thinking necessarily about money. Money came as a pleasant consequence. They did because they loved, they even programmed for 24 hours a day without stopping, and sleeping on the floor, and eating only sandwiches.When I was around 20-25 my motivation was as big for everything I had in mind...
@TheHatedOne
@TheHatedOne 6 жыл бұрын
I agree with you 99.99% except for the Steve Jobs bit. He doesn't deserve the credit for the vision that always belonged to Steve Wozniak - a true hacker to the heart. Wozniak wanted to create a personal computer even if no one would ever buy it. In my mind, that's what makes a hero.
@DihelsonMendonca
@DihelsonMendonca 6 жыл бұрын
Yes. The world is made by these kind of people whose motivation for doing apparently small things, goes beyond money, power, everything. I can´t understant some people´s pleasure in staying all day watching and fixing object´s positions on a conveyor belt for years. When we ask, they say: "I like it, and it´s my job". So we like to make videos, talk about strange things, we like computers, we like to research, we like to understand the world.

Thats actually incorrect, I found this video from my recommendations, I often get videos from this channel in my recommended feed because the algorithm recognizes that this is the type of content I would like to watch, this video being exposed to such a small amount of people is more of a testiment to how shallow the general audience of this site is, rather than how "broken" the algorithms running it are. Obviously I am not defending the 'Hand off" approach that youtube has with its moderation, discovery queue, copyright claims and pretty much everything... just pointing out that the fact that this video is grossly obscure isnt a fault of the site, or the algorithm, its the fault of the general userbase whoes simply not interested in watching content thats topical and thought provoking.

That raid of Steve Jackson games back in the early 1990's sounds like a comedy sketch almost. I'm not sure whether the Secret Service literally didn't understand that the company makes fictional GAMES. Or if perhaps they thought the development of pen and paper RPGs like GURPS was just a 'front' or 'cover' for a criminal organization of some sort. What is it with tabletop RPGs and uptight, clueless authority figures? If the kids aren't learning witchcraft and satanism from playing D&D, they're learning to hack your bank account in GURPS or something. Maybe they're not even that different, as both are seen by the clueless as being essentially 'magic'.

For an individual who work with the government, hackers are second threat because you can put security, VPN or manage the setting. The first threat is by a bad guy in the government who work with police or ISP to share information with ur collegues to bully u in the department. No matter how is your setting or security, they hv owned your phone. Among co workers, you cannot avoid using google drive and make links or sync to share so files and documents. I have to disagree with on 1:10. Hackers are not "people who belive that Acess to computere technology should be free and open". Some of them are but the word hacker has nothing to doo with an ideal or goal but rather describes an action.

People who have vital jobs, from doctor to street cleaner to lawyer, to anybody who has respect for the privacy for others, recovering from traumas, in hospital: these people might not have time to learn code. Why should their safety, professional identity or bank details be comprised by anyone without so much as a DBS check (a record of offences against children and adults). Free speech is great when it’s not exploited by people who consider themselves genius due to their resources and ability, but think about the people at risk who didn’t get the kind of technological advantages and might be skilled differently.

1, you get a job, 2, you save as much as you can, 3, you invest, 4, you use that money to support activist hackers, 5, you learn to code, and hack, 6, with money, code, hardware and others, hack the planet.
