I think the only time a muscular girl at the gym ever intimidated me was when I was 13 and there was one female instructor at the gym who was HUGE - not just for a woman, but for a human being. She was like 6'3", spray tanned and bleach blonde hair with the physique of a male professional wrestler - an absolute Amazonian unit to say the very least. She didn't intimidate me because of her gender but rather her size, the same way I felt about really muscular dudes - I was scared that if I was taking too long on a machine or doing an exercise wrong, they'd pick me up with their bare hands and throw me out the gym. So I didn't feel my masculinity was threatened so much as my life was - I was terrified. But she was actually quite sweet and I've learned most muscular folks are too - they mostly keep to themselves but can offer help and advise.

A few weird things I’ve seen at my gym over the years. Keep in mind, I workout around 2AM. - Seen girls workout in their actual underwear. - Been creeped out by some pervert in the showers. - Been gawked at by a teen girl as I stepped out of the shower. (Daughter of the cleaning lady) - Bumped into a naked chick in the steam room. - Found used condoms on the steam room floor. - Saw two homeless people sleeping at the lower stairwell in our cardio classroom. Not gonna mention the name of the gym, but they were famous for being open all day and all night.
