Smokey in his Prime, at the Height of vocal Powers. weaving his music spell on the audience. To me it is Smokey's greatest performance that I have seen everybody in the audience was with him.

It was our Friday Night and I first ran into our Shot Putter: "Coach Looking for You! I don't recall the movie but everybody was laughing like crazy. There's this voice: I told y'all that was Mean-mo! He's the only one I know laugh that hard. Then from him and the three guys with him: Coach looking for You!! I was still living in the Cabrini Green Projects and before this, people I knew was asking my Brother-in-law was I in some kind of trouble because people on the Northside was getting calls asking did they know me. That Coach was the Track Coach at Wright College on the North Side of Chicago. Wright had a very Respectable Track Team and Welled Rounded in All Events but Extremely Strong in the Sprints!! Such is life, GOD BLESS!!!!!! I had a curse I had to live!

True story. When I was in Drivers Ed, many years ago, I was “cruising” along and the instructor was sleeping. He always did which was cool actually as it took the pressure off. Anyways a Smokey Robinson song came on. But now whenever I hear a Smokey song I think of Drivers Ed. It’s actually a bit distracting come to think of it.
