this just goes to show that people should stop being obsessed with number plates. This 20+ year old car performs just as it did brand new. You got to give it to toyota, it was cars of these times that didn't have planned obsolescence. This channel has really educated and changed my perspective on vehicles. Knowledge is power

@@lethalstreak spot on! These older vehicles were built with replaceability of parts in mind! Aslong as you maintain and replace parts, the vehicle can perform almost like new for decades and decades !

Thanks for another great MGC video! The tip about the ECU is very helpful. I think one of the reasons the RAVs have gotten bigger over the years is due to customer demand for better rear seat comfort and cargo space. I remember my father used to drive four-door version the 1st gen RAV and even as a kid, I found the rear seat quite uncomfortable on long journeys (particularly the lack of thigh support), not to mention the road noise at moderate to high speed. The newer ones (particularly the model after yours) has significantly improved in all of those areas imo.

@MasaiGainz3 ай бұрын
@@alvindtb I used CarKey Masters near Sarit Roundabout . If the ECU is repaired in time then you are sorted but if you’ve been driving the car for long with harsh shifts, there could be abit of damage to the transmission. But first, check the ECU repair out hopefully it sorts you. They don’t replace it, they refurbish it and change any bad capacitors then they test the vehicle out.
