I worked at Tower Records at 1 Piccadilly Circus, London (no longer there, sadly) and MJ came in, in 1995 for the HIStory album promo. He came to shop and we didn't know he was coming. Long story short, our paths literally crossed about a 3 arms-spans away. Loads of kids behind him like he was, no disrespect intended, Jesus-like. My lucky friend Stella was chosen to show him around the basement floor where the R&B section was. She told him he smelt amazing and he said he was allergic to perfume but wore oils instead. The whole basement floor held the lovely fragrance for a while ♥
