Exothermic will decrease, endothermic will imcrease. Just Le Chatelier's principle. Its basic but very important.
@onewayraildex48273 жыл бұрын
@@matthewmyers5255 If we are going to Nitpick lets do it right. An Exothermic reaction releases energy out, some of this energy it releases is perceived in the form of heat. An endothermic reaction absorbs energy and some of the energy it absorbs is perceived in the form of heat. Lechatlier's principle explains the idea of equilibrium. When you mix 2 reactants together to form a product, some of that product unmixes itself and turns back into reactants. You can mess around with the environment including temperature to change these 2 rates. Usually if you are in a decent school you would have a lab where you put a test tube with colored solution in cold water, see it is one color, then put it in hot water and see the color change to something else, then when you put it back into the cold water from the hot water, the color changes back. The color changes due to the product being one color and the reactants being another color. Foward and reverse reactions are entirely subjective to the goals of the scientist. If the scientist wants to make reactants from the product, then to the scientist, the product is not a product, but rather a reactant, making the reverse reaction the foward reaction.
