India and China have moved back to a mutually agreed distance in Galwan in the first round of disengagement process takes place in Ladakh. Gogra & Hot Springs will follow. Salute to Indian soldiers and Border road organization (BRO) for completing the bridge in only 3 months. Tremendous diplomatic strategy by Govt of India resulting USA to come to South China Sea in the perfect time.. As well as two opposite poles USA and Russia who never agree on one point to atleast acknowledge China's unfair means.. Also at the same time some rising in POK to challenge construction of dams by Chinese on the Jhelum and Neelum river

Haha...the hard stretch of 225km DSDBO road construction was started in 2000 and completed in 2019. Modi gvt didn't take any extra decisions for new infra. DBO airport was made operational in 2008. Larger aircraft landed there on 2013. Bhakts try to find some saving grace for abject failure to protect PP14. That's our problem. Not just the India Army has to be defensive, but be offensive. Don't just take back and restore status quo, take land from China/Paksitan. Let them negotiate with us about the land what we have taken. Russia swallows Crimea, China occupies SCS. Let other powers object, go to UN, cry and whine. Who cares. If we keep this same philosophy of being defensive, we would see those times again like when Mughals and British ruled India for almost 1000 years. With this philosophy of being defensive and creating peace, we would be looking for a new country to settle down soon in the next century or so.

The Chinese came into Indian territory, it was more than a 2.5km trespass. They're still on Indian territory, they've built some infrastructure & have removed tents and trucks from where they were. Doval negotiated and the outcome was that Indian troops were to retreat further into their own territory first, for a buffer to be created. The Press Release by both sides was not identical, China left out some important phrases. They have altered the status quo, & India will incur significant cost at a bad time policing both borders.

Sir your comment on ajay Devgan "shaheedon ki chita pe roti sekna" is utterly caustic and uncalled for. You tell stories through news...they tell stories via movies...your's cant be greater than someone else's way... I never heard/read about tanhaji untill I saw the movie...

@@mkganya6013 even I hated it when RGV went for terror tourism, but imagine the untold stories of our great heroes! @@mkganya6013 I am outraged by his act of visiting the blood soaked scene the next day. I am not against directors making meaning full movies telling the right stories. The Bollywodians have for long glorified gangsters, few are doing the good job of telling the stories of real stories. To reiterate someone trying to tell you a heroes story is not at all " shaheeda ki chita pe roti sekna". By that logic, I can say print is also doing the same thing.

Always the grandiloquence. Beautiful to read but a disaster for future generations. When this guy speaks I feel he is trying to relieve his constipation without straining. He wants to demean BJP but finding it hard. Other print articles demean BJP always in all situations whether their decision is good or bad. he is coming here and trying to be neutral to build support for his magazine. This guy just is vomiting things most people already know just with a twist to suit his agenda.

About the "Trust but Verify" axiom that you shared, i have been practising it , along with like minded corporate leaders, while working for corporates. India has gained. 1) its infrastructure in those areas continues to be built , which the Chinese wanted to stop. So a permanent threat to the karakoram pass , the only connection between Xinjiang and tibet has been established. 2) india has gained "esteem" , for lack of a better word, in the perception of the globe and the chinese , who no one wanted to take on , have been shown to be if not paper, not actual tigers either.
