Dougie Since when? And by the way, statistics show that men cheat more than women do.
@edennis8578
@edennis8578 5 жыл бұрын
@Dougie That's a pack of lies. It's men who behave that way, not women. Men who cheat always blame the wife/girlfriend, and often even assume that if they're cheating, then she must be cheating too and start slamming her around. I've seen it happen to people I know more than once. Men assume they have a right to cheat because *they're men*, but they still feel guilty. Because they feel guilty, they project their behavior onto their wives and take it out on them as if the wives really were adulterous. Statistically, women who cheat use cheating as an alternative to divorce, in the same way that women file for divorce as an alternative to suicide. Whatever you think about women and relationships, you obviously don't have a clue.

Dave: "Are you in a church at all?" Dave: "No, I'm not." Dave: "Okay. Can you find a counselor?" Dave, as a non-religious listener, I *GREATLY* respect how you carry yourself in faith. You make your beliefs known without shoving it down your listeners throats. That you do not push people into church, even when the opportunity presents itself, is really fantastic. It sets you apart from most Christians that I know, and it's a great example for all people, regardless of faith. Actually, the only other one I know like that is the one that recommended your book to me. Huh.

My ex after 21 yrs left me for an old girlfriend who already had a history of breaking up a family. She broke up another marriage, but the guy died shortly after she married him so she could get a windfall of his cash. Then she went after my husband. Well he is a horrible narcissistic alcoholic . He was terrible to me and our 2 kids and my oldest daughter. They got married, but the marriage didn't last. Very long. I knew it wouldn't. She had no idea what she was getting. And she did me a huge favor . While Texas is a 50/50 State. The judge awarded me 60/40. Because how he behaved in court I got my home, land and everything but his few fishing poles. He got some of our savings and his 401k. I'm sure that is gone because she was an ultra high maintenance gal. I went back to college because he would not allow me to go when my kids got into school as I begged. So.. I completed the college work to get 3 associate degrees in 3 yrs while I was also working 2 jobs. Yeah.. and for 21 years he said I was Stupid. I got a good job with a fortune 500 international company. With my associates degrees. The only thing he did get was alienating my 3 kids.. 2 were in college one had graduated already. I tried talking to my kids to exsplain what he was doing.. but he had a high paying job and was able to buy them off. Including my daughter who was not his. It was like my success just made them all mad at me for not just rolling up and dieing. My son said the ex was hoping I would have to sell the house and 32 Acer land because I couldn't afford to keep it. He was waiting to buy it really cheap because he was sure I would lose it. Well been 17 years and I still have my house and no debt and financially stable. He on the other hand is living in an apartment divorced from his 4 the wife.. Now... Who is the real Stupid one? Not me. Oh.. I'm still single. I learned to never put my life in anothers hand again.. What's really funny they got married on Valentine's day. I bet she hates Valentine's day for the rest of her life.

For the people asking what does this has to do with finances? Well everything. When you get married your finances become one so when you get a divorce the finances are now split up and you need financial advice to make good decisions while your heart is broken. Obviously Dave is not a robot so he is also going to talk to her about the emotional factor too I mean come on ppl the show doesn't have to stuck in a box this is real life finances revolve around all we do. @@carultch Then marry a woman who works and make sure you are actually putting your equal share into the childrearing and homemaking (men rarely do). You don't get to split the work of raising the household as you do the paid work she does the unpaid work and then you take the money when you leave. Get a grip. Or if you don't want to get married, that's fine. But plan to not have kids too then. Because no smart woman is going to willingly have kids with someone she is not married to because women sacrifice a lot financially to have kids, and that's what the financial protections of marriage are meant to offset.

I beleive things can get worked out... but only if there is something to work out and if they would do the work. If he won't even do the counciling he isn't trying to save the marriage.
