I vouch for the cravings coming down when we eat healthy. Dr Pal’s videos helped me cut down sugar etc and substitute with fruits , nuts which have natural sugars. You feel more full and craving comes down . The results are visible within weeks. Dr also advocates not buying and storing them so that we don’t reach out to them

He’s so awesome Dr. Pal so informative and humorous… and Ranveer I think you spoke more than he did in this podcast. What a sport Dr. Pal was.. probably the good gut bacteria in him that makes him smile and bring so much cheer to life as he puts out information and knowledge that can change all our lives 😊.

Amazing explanation👍.. we need those bacteria but in our control.. not to be controlled by them. Before 40 years we in India sugar was not part of our lifestyle.. all sweets were traditional and made from jaggery, ghee and cane sugar. But now Cake , pastry and soft drinks are entered in our life.. every occasion we cut cakes. We eats liters of icecream, soft drinks. In the desert we eat whole chocolate.. those bacteria are happy now.. they are leaving lavish life and we became poorly healthy. 😂😂

I have a fix for sugar addiction that has worked for me, if you eat a lot of sweets and stuff if you make them at home you can manage the sugar that goes in it you can gradually reduce sugar and you will be more hooked on flavours of say nuts with khoya and ghee than the taste of sugar itself and slowly you will get used to less sugar. Then you can replace sugar with some amount honey or jaggery that way it's still better than refined sugar..
