Just watched "Knives Out" on 18 Mar 2021 - we heard this wonderful song during the closing credits. I have heard this over 30 times since then!

The movie so entertaining and then that song while the credits rolled was icing on the cake.

My buddy that I had known since I moved when I was 10 showed me this song over our college winter break after our mutual friend overdosed, and it seemed so familiar for some reason. I was convinced that it was from the Sopranos montage where Sil asks Paulie if their "thing is still on", only for the other to say that they're still waiting on the go-ahead from Tony. I realized that where I actually knew this song from was the final scene of Knives Out. Media of a lesser quality but still sentimental, for I had first seen it after Thanksgiving dinner with my entire family together for the first time in at least a year. Living across the country now from all my friends and family, this song will always remind me of the people I grew up with - both family and friends. Months later I listened to this song and it brought me to tears for a reason I couldn't figure out. The words came together in a text I sent to the friend that showed me this: I was listening to Sweet Virginia for first time since Winter Break yesterday and honestly dude it almost brought me to tears and couldnt figure out why. More I thought about it more I thought about the time we spent over winter break together and then even more about growing up in Saratoga. I love Washington but man have I really started to miss the northeast. Hate seeing everybody, either friends or family, a few times a year, esp now that we’re getting older, our parents are getting older, and the only way to keep in touch is by calling or texting (not that that isn’t great, but just that it never replaces seeing someone in person)
