I was a big sneakerhead when I was in HS, but I couldn't afford any of the hot pairs so I got a paper route and saved up my money for six months to buy the very first Iverson's with the blue toe. On the car ride home from getting them I opened the box to admire my first pair of cool shoes and when I did, I heard this song for the very first time on Power 99 (Philly/NJ/DE people know what's up) and this song brings me right back to that moment every time.
