It's crazy how the songs you know and loved are stored away deep in your memory. I just saw someone refer to this song, so I looked it up and decided to listen to. Everything sounded so unfamiliar, but when it came to the chorus, I started singing along...it made me nostalgic and emotional. I'm not one to believe the best days are behind me. I'm a person who believes every waking moment of your life means something, that every season is special. I appreciate all the goodness from my childhood. They say time travel may exist in the future, but it already does, through music and song, you'll find the bridge between the past and now. It's somewhere deep in your mind. And it really is beautiful and amazing.

This song came out around that time and I thought about it a lot. I was all packed but hesitated to leave because of this song. I know my mom loves me but sometimes it's suffocating. Because I didn't leave right away, she had enough time to calm herself enough to come in and talk me down.

We were seated in circles like in the video and you get to share your struggles and people in the circle listens. It was the time I was healing and a was such humbling experience. is it just me or this song's not only for lovers who broke up and waiting for their partner to come back but also talks about a child running away from his/her home. and even though the child caused some pain in his/her parents for leaving, they still wait for them to return to welcome them back. hence the music video having a girl on the streets and eventually ended up on a group support and a mom who seems to be waiting for someone to return. :)PS. I love how the song's not just about breakups and having your heart broken by someone walking away... it hit me hard when I watched the music video because it can be about anyone with an addiction that has walked away from their family and just went down in a spiral. The song's just amazing... and I can imagine that many families with addicts are just wishing that they would come back and start over again :') I hope that whoever is struggling with an addiction can have the courage to go to rehab and come clean so that they can reunite with those who are waiting for them to come back into their arms!

I have spent to much time hoping that she would change her mind. I never in my life, not even once, belived in soulmates. It sounds cheesy to me and all but her, she was everything. That missing part of my life. When it was over i thought to myself that i wanted to do anything to get her back, but she made it clear that it was over. Now after Six months i struggle not to think of her since it does not feel normal to think of someone after all that time. Three mothns after the breakup she has a new boyfriend, now they are going to move in with eachother. Sure, her happiness is all i ever wanted but i wish she could be happy with me. I try to tell people, talk to friends, everyone say " just get over it, there are more fish in the sea " But she wasn't just a fish in the sea, she was my fish :/. Ah well. This is something everyone is going through clearly. Since songs are written about it. Love doesn't hurt, it only hurts when you lost it.

+lsoguh Yeah, i have tried that aswell, meeting new people but it's hard to think of myself with someone new, to start over all again. Never did i thought that I would be such a bitch about this...haha. People just have different ways to move on i guess, some get a new partner to supress the bad feelings of heartbreak, some like me, likes to process it and learn from it til' the next time. Thanks for your reply and advice, people like you restore my faith in humanity.
