Great video again Richard. Thanks for taking us with you again. It's nice for folks to see that someone can enjoy fishing and catching in creeks and from the bank without having $60 k boat and enough electronics they can see everything from outer space travel to inner earth exploration. Not saying that stuff isn't nice, but I think folks get hung up on that stuff so much they forget to enjoy fishing and being in God's great outdoors. Wooo! After watching all of your creek fishing videos, I left the kayak at home and got in the Cahaba River near Trussville, AL and WOW! The spotted bass were waiting in nearly every deep pool along the way. It was the most fun I've had fishing in many years. Thank you for the inspiration. I can't wait to get my feet wet again.

I grew up in Central Alabama and remember wading creeks with my dad when I was just a little fellow. He would turn over flat rocks in the shallow parts of the running creek to find Hellgrammites to fish with. He warned me that they can pinch, didn't listen.

hope you can find place to sling at that has really big fish - - below dams on big impoundments/bigger rivers - they can be tought to fish but if you find current you will find fish - i'd like to fish an oversize hellgrammite in some places - or a snake lure - try it before summer is out but on right water
