Hahaha love it boys. Our retired mechanic (77) dragged this old girl from under a collapsed shed out the back of Tweed Heads. It was in a real sad state of affairs and after months and months of emails back and foreward with nissan trying to get wiring diagrams to start repairs on the factory EFI setup it was more practical to "Lets just get the bloody thing running" Absolutely stoked to see the old girl getting some loving something we couldnt sort here at Carter Automotive. Looking foreward to the updates guys

Fun fact! When Ford needed to make up an idle air control valve they choose to use window lift motors to drive the valve. Because because those don't give out on Fords like clockwork. Stick a spare in the boot, the owner will need it at what will inevitably be a very inopportune time.

Who else had Martin "In The Bin!" going in their head? Back in the olden days (90-93) when I ran 4 cylinder Dirt Mini-Stock, we were mandated to use either a stock carb or a 350 Holley. I prefered the biggest Ford Motorcraft carb we could get our hands on because the car was so much more driveable with it. iirc the best one we had was from an old F150 with a 351. Ran that model on the 2.3 Pinto/Mustang II, a Toyota, my Mitsubishi/Dodge street cars and mini truck (2.6 4cyl), and a buddy's Chevette.
