The total number of subscription mobile phone contracts in the UK is 83 million (and even if some people have multiple contracts, almost 8 million of the 67 million are under 10 years old, so that's 83 million mobile contracts for 59 million people...). You got to look at demographics of the country the native population is much older then the immigrant population so cutting benefits and refroming the pension system will hurt the native population more then the immigrant population who gets social housing immigrants do because they are deemed to be in greater need the schools are increasingly dommented by immigrant children the average age of a native british person is 47 the average age of immigrants is 27 so the population is not just divaded by culture and religion and race but also by generations so cuts to pension and benefits will go to schools and social housing at the expense of the native population and to the benefit of immigrants
@gruunt4064 Жыл бұрын
we don't need to worry about the immigrant population when we have an entire section of our own population who will never work, they only talk about what they are entitled to, they leave school and unlike others who might rent, might save up for a mortgage, they might flat share, these people put themselves on a list and wait for their social housing, they produce children and get free housing, free healthcare, free education. the children grow up having never seen anyone go to work so do exactly the same, there is no worry about getting a job if your rent is paid no matter. they have no purpose in life and only ambition is to get on disability payments. why exactly we should think this is ok but not ok for an immigrant i don't see the difference, they will have gone through life having not paid a penny in tax, benefits were meant to be a safety net not a lifestyle choice. the problem is it is middle classes living in a bubble who make the decisions, if they lived 6 months on an estate they would change their mind when they see people who are given everything throw their old furniture in the street because they know the council will pick it up eventually, when they don't send their kid to school so the council sends a taxi every morning, the answer now apparently is free school meals all year round, yes great idea, take away the only job they have, feeding their own kids with money already provided by the tax payer I have plenty neighbours who live in their pyjamas, i have never seen them dressed, if they go out they put a coat on over

In the U.S., George Washington was opposed to political parties & thought they would destroy the country. How insightful, given the hatred between Americans now & the tribalism that keeps people entrenched in bad policies, believing that anything that other tribe does is evil. This is why so many Democrats allow themselves to be gaslit into believing that only conservatives & Republicans oppose the "T" takeover of society. Liberals / progressives are afraid to object because opposing these insane policies is portrayed in the media & by party leadership as an R v D battle. That's only true in the party leadership and those who live in a propaganda bubble on social media & partisan traditional media. It's like a cult. If you could talk to people outside the framework of their cult, they could see how deceptive & controlling the cult is & how ludicrous its beliefs are, but they can't as long as they are inside the cult. Political & ideological cults are more dangerous than religious cults because they involve exponentially more people, are less easy to recognize, & seem more normal because their ideology is so widespread. People mock Scientology or the Jehovah's Witnesses, but trans ideology controls the White House, the media, and the Democratic Party. Rank & file Dems think it's a civil rights issue b/c that's how it's been framed, so they think supporting policies that harm women & children is somehow progressive, compassionate, on the side of good, & on the right side of history. It's bizarro world for those of us on the Left who see how insidious & sinister this ideology is. Democrats would rather hate Republicans than hate policies that harm people. Because they are in an ideological cult.

The french "Fight against the Terrorists" reminds me to the British Empire what was built on making the tribes in the colonies fight against each other, so that "Rule Britannia, Rule" could be achieved with very little britisch military. In this tradition it would be nice for the french to grow up terrorists, to keep the colony busy and to strike very hard, if the gouvernement hesitates to comply with their french master. So its no wonder, that "Wagner" troops do better, because their bosses do not hint the upcoming attacks to the terrorists, like France had to do.

Andrew's credibility sunk to zero when she tried to make the case that private water companies were better for the country. @@chillijoe8264 Dividends aren't needed! They're funded by the money the public pays water companies. So without private water companies government does the investing & dividends instead become profits that are either invested back into the service or used to ensure a proportion of our water bill isn't set aside to benefit private individuals or firms, who could be anywhere in the world. Almost all countries have public run water (Chile is the only other that doesn't I think), rather than trusting it to the whims of companies that prioritise paying investors over re-investing in infrastructure, or giving a fair deal to its customers. The preference to prioritise investors over investment is why the UK's rivers & surrounding sea is suffering an increasing sewage problem.
