Just studied and took notes (actual detailed notes) on every one of your Sprint Project videos. Covid has me coaching my 16-year old son, so I'm looking for help and guidance. He shows potential, so I want to learn how to conduct a good workout for him which will be motivating, effective, and avoid injury and creating bad habits. With my notes, TOMORROW we start, I'll let you know how we do.

Thanks a lot for these videos man, seriously. I have always loved watching sprinters at Olympics but just recently decided to sprint myself too and I was surprised by the low amount of useful resources for beginners about sprinting, so much clickbait and barely any real info. Please keep up the good work, I can see your passion for sprinting on your videos, not just as an exercise.

I was in the same position as you and because of the lack of information out there decided to create the channel. Thanks for watching I got a lot more coming.

Yes good advice on this video.I am 64 and interested in sprinting.Last time I ran fast was in my early 30's when I was late for work.I have tried a few sprints lately but realise my technique was not very good.Would like to be able to go under 20 seconds for the 100 metres

@turn-n-burn1421 Жыл бұрын
Not really about workouts per se, but back when I ran track, our coach told the sprinters that the best technique for speed was how quickly you could rotate (meaning pick your leg back up and put it back down.) Not sure that makes sense, but like a piston in a racing engine. How many RPMs you can do. And like boxers are taught. You jab quickly and jerk your arm back as fast as you can, so you're ready to throw either another punch or block an incoming one.

I'm a 43 yr old lifetime athlete that has had a lot of ups and downs with injuries. I just added 2 sprints to my nightly 5 km walks. I love it and hear there are so many benefits. I'm thinking of doing 3 days a week sprinting uphill 4 - 5 sets. 2 8-second sprints - 3 20 second sprints. On my days off can I do these exercises to improve? I definitely need to improve my technique.

Great Content! Also, I have a question about two things (not necessarily related to the video): 1) My groin muscles tighten up when I start to fatigue during sprinting, making my knees flare outward. 2) My lower back also tightens up, causing me to lean far back. Do you have any advice on these? Thank You!

If you do drills everyday yes you can definitely see improvements in a month. Biggest thing I would say is record yourself, most smartphones can shoot slow motion. ;)

Hey Nicholas, 10 sets in 1 workout is what I’d recommend. Starting with a slower speed and working your way up. Most important thing is you should feel a gradual increase in intensity.

I'm in my mid 50s, and I would like to get into sprinting for weight loss and to improve my cardio and endurance. In the last five years I've had surgeries on both knees to clean up MCL microtears, and surgery to remove a heel spur from my right foot. Can I try this workout? BTW, what kind of running shoes would you recommend? Thanks for posting this video BTW.
@ThePassionofSprinting3 жыл бұрын
For me the best running shoe is the Nike structure, the stability is so great. Sure you can do these workouts but I would recommend to do it on a soft ground like a turf , even world class sprinter train ona soft ground over month…

20 reps, 1 leg. You hopping lol? I assume that means 10 reps each leg, so youre only taking 20 steps? And 5 sets of that? 20 steps seems quite low to me, but im new to just trying to figure. Also wouldnt a time be better to go by, i imagine at full speed its hard to count exact steps. It seems all the videos i watch, the hardest info to find is the actual workout itself.

@OnlyTerrellyouknow2 жыл бұрын
Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead three days later and repent of sin. Judgement is coming to this world. Also repent consistently. Jesus is coming soon. At any moment you can die and if your not right with Christ you would go to hell. If you died right now would you go to heaven or hell
