I knew Scottie, before they got big (Mighty Joe Young/STP), he was married to a good friend. He'd invite me to their shows, and I'd say I'd go but never did. Until one day ge said: "Look Ed, I always put you on the list, but you never go. If you don't come this time, I'm not putting you on the guest list anymore." So, I went and was shocked how good they were. We (our friends) saw him make it big. It was good times. I am blessed to say we were friends. I remember the last time I saw him was when VR was touring and he was sober. I hope he knew how proud I was of him. He was a gentle soul, that deserved better. .and now I'm battling my own demons, I hope he hears me when I pray to him to give me strength. RIP, my friend. (I love your song)

Amazing recollection! Hope you pull through with your battles. SW was a great musician/frontman. He was one of many amazing voices of my youth. Wish he could have found peace while he was alive. Thank you for sharing your memories and thoughts on Scott and may you find your peace in your life too.

Always been a Scott fan since I was a kid, I remember how so many people would make toxic comments about him, he was one of the greatest singers of all time, a fashion icon, great song writer and majestic frontmen, wish he had all the praise he’s received since he died while he was alive, so many people kicked him when he was down, I hope he knew how great he was and how happy he made us fans feel, I was very young but I got to see him live three times all three was incredible ❤…. RIP SCOTT

Possibly you have never had a smack addict as a part of your family, older brother, while growing up, and somewhat amazingly, he's still alive at 65, for you to understand the contempt I hold for these pieces of shite addicts. He also fooked over his 2 kids, what a great person for you to look up to, eh.

Leno had do a quick close because they were past the broadcast time. Any longer would have cut into the next show, which was Conan. If you listen closely, Jay says “thank you guys” while shaking Scott’s hand. It wasn’t meant to be disrespectful, Jay was just short on time.

Scott is one hell of a talent. But if the special effects are used sparingly, I think it's good for music. I don't think it's overdone here. Great song and performances on this one. What would Kid Rocks "Only God Knows Why" be without the special effects at the beginning. I don't think the song would be as good overall. And they were used sparingly, not over the top also. That's the key.
