I finally picked up a hunting blind for stealth camping. I have been wanting to try one out for camping for quite a while, but they aren't very large compared with a tent. This one was a ZonZ hub ground blind. I brought the little buddy heater for warmth and burned through 3 propane cylinders. The night was cold, and by morning my feet were cold but it was still a great camping trip!

Steve, I hope you aren't losing your enjoyment with camping due to pressure from us subscribers. We love your content whether it's repetitive, laid back, almost seems effortless, you name it we will love it. We feed off of your energy, not necessarily your content. Relax, enjoy, take a break, and let's go camping with Steve!

I liked the backyard camping episodes. I also wouldn't mind episodes of Steve at home just going over equipment and figuring out recipes. Like, this could have been a two parter of Steve going over the hunting blind and heater and trying to maximize space for food, camera, and gear. No reason why there couldn't be multiple episodes expounding on one creative idea like this one or the cave/bunker.

The blind is easy to put up and take down. kzbin.infoUgkxvlQxmcZQzSQSYbJsEgAGvG2DaduKTV99 As a female hunter, the ease of placing and setting up the blind is a plus. It’s more of a wind barrier than a warm quilted blind. Which makes it a lot lighter than our quilted blind. I enjoyed the larger windows/openings. Made for a successful season. It has held up well for the first season and the stitching looks good.

Hey Steve, relatively long time subscriber, first time commenter (I think). Thanks for sharing a little more of your life's adventures with us (the teeming masses)! I agree with some of the other commenters here: just be and enjoy yourself. I personally could do with a couple videos a week (or as often as you can) on your various interests (camping, cooking, RVing, hobo river rafting, etc.) but if once a month is all you can swing at times, c'est la vie. My advice: Ignore any negative comments and focus on the positive ones. This is YOUR channel about YOU. I personally like it when you are real and honest. Please don't change that part of yourself. You rock! Cheers brother! 😃🤙👍

I love all of Steve's videos regardless of what he's doing. It would be cool to see a "behind the scenes" for all the planning and prep that goes into filming a stealth camp. I think it would give us all a new appreciation for the effort Steve puts in to the process of picking a location, packing gear, choosing a meal, filming the camp, and editing everything.

You're looking great Steve! I agree with other comments too. Please don't push too hard to please subscribers, we'll always love your content. I still remember one of the first videos of yours that I watched, you were blown away by someone's kindness, giving you a donation and that's why we're here, for you, whatever you are doing. Thanks for another excellent video and for just plain being an amazing guy.

Something that might be handy to look into for the Buddy Heater is a heat powered fan. It doesn't require batteries because it uses a thermocouple to power the fan from the heat of the stove. It'll help circulate the heat inside your shelter and hopefully prevent those melted spots in the roof.

It might be a little difficult to bring on a stealth camp as he already carries enough camping gear to stay warm in the winter. But you had a good idea. Stay warm Steve, it makes me a little nervous to watch in this minis degree weather, too.

You are kind, quirky, humble, intelligent, courageous, funny and entertaining. Whether you’re in a body bag, a bus, behind a sign, or in a blind it doesn’t matter to me. I’d even love to see you road trip in a van all over Canada or the US. You have a great perspective of life. Keep it up! All the best!
