I liked the backyard camping episodes. I also wouldn't mind episodes of Steve at home just going over equipment and figuring out recipes. Like, this could have been a two parter of Steve going over the hunting blind and heater and trying to maximize space for food, camera, and gear. No reason why there couldn't be multiple episodes expounding on one creative idea like this one or the cave/bunker.

Something that might be handy to look into for the Buddy Heater is a heat powered fan. It doesn't require batteries because it uses a thermocouple to power the fan from the heat of the stove. It'll help circulate the heat inside your shelter and hopefully prevent those melted spots in the roof.

Hey Steve, relatively long time subscriber, first time commenter (I think). Thanks for sharing a little more of your life's adventures with us (the teeming masses)! I agree with some of the other commenters here: just be and enjoy yourself. I personally could do with a couple videos a week (or as often as you can) on your various interests (camping, cooking, RVing, hobo river rafting, etc.) but if once a month is all you can swing at times, c'est la vie. My advice: Ignore any negative comments and focus on the positive ones. This is YOUR channel about YOU. I personally like it when you are real and honest. Please don't change that part of yourself. You rock! Cheers brother! 😃🤙👍

Steve, I just love going virtual camping with you each time and look forward to each episode. Your “down to earth “ demeanor soothes my soul and so many of your viewers feel the same. After watching your channel for over a year now, I have started collecting items to get stealth fully away from time to time. As a woman I got some things you’d probably never use. I found out one weekend just how hard it is to avoid people who seem to have “stranger radar “. Maybe I was paranoid but I could always feel eyes on my. Tried to be the “grey woman” to fit in but still people were peering in my car when I hunkered down in it. I even camouflaged it to look like it was a college alumni vehicle. Since most of us are only 3 missed paychecks from being homeless, your tips can prove invaluable for our peace of mind. You make it look easy but realistic. Thank you for doing the hard stuff.

Thanks again Steve! Your videos are the highlight of my week. Remember tuning in for the first time, you had just passed 1k subscribers. Now you're a KZbin megastar with 1 million subscribers coming up next! Keep on doing what you're doing, and ...be safe! 🙂

I'm about to leave for my first winter camping trip in about a decade. This was just the inspiration I needed to get super excited.

You wouldn't believe how much joy these videos bring to me. I was smiling almost all the way through this one.

I dunno why you often say things suggesting you being boring or that we won't want to watch. I primarily watch because of you, not what you do. I like hanging out with you, whatever it is you happen to be doing at the time. The camping stuff is just a bonus, if I didn't like hanging out with you it wouldn't matter how good your content was because I wouldn't choose to watch it.

Take it easy Steve. Personally I'd like to see more of Steve at home just talking about life during the nasty winter.

You’re content is amazing and I look forward to it. You aren’t the kind of KZbinr that does things out of wanting to impress people, anyone can tell you truly love it.

Another one in the books. Excellent go around this time. No having to pack up and high tail it out of there. Like that one night in that neighborhood. I really enjoyed the trial of the new gear. A white one or white camo tarp would go well with something like that to hide it away. Remember this, Nature and God don't make things in straight lines. The better you look like it's natural the better the stealth. Still, an awesome Job Steve another excellent stealth camp. Thank you so much.

Hunkered down here at home with The Freeze on the way, I have to say, I think the most stressful part of watching this one was hoping the chili getting poured didn't dump, tear apart, or overheat the chips bag and make Steve drop it :( Thank goodness for little victories. And whoof! Here's to the next one hopefully being warmer. Only six more weeks until 'Spring' Steve, fingers crossed!

These videos are just honest reviews of equipment, demonstrated by someone who takes them further than manufacturer intended purposes. And it’s extremely helpful. Can’t wait for the next urban exploration!
