The $45-$60 overcoats are imo- a huge mistake that screams 'I'm broke" They are polyester or rayon when they should be at least 50% wool for the right look. Those cheap coats should be avoided bcuz they wont keep you warm and wont give the stylish look...a lose-lose and waste of money. It's ok, but you should never, ever, wear this kind of jackets or coats combined with a t-shirt. Get a button down (or polo) shirt with a proper collar! If not for looks, do it for a practical reason: this coat looks like it requires professional cleaning, or at least a very elaborate process if you wash and iron it at home. I'm sure you are familiar with those sweat and oil marks on a collar? Those have to be on your easy to clean shirt and not on your jacket. Never have a coat or jacket collar touch your bare neck!

Age is just a number. Everyone should wear what they like and what they feel comfortable in. Regardless of whether others like it or not. If someone doesn't like the way I dress, they don't have to look at me. No one should let others tell them what to wear.
