at around 20:20 the reason why the rerolls didnt work was because libraries dont exhaust their item pools in the same way as other special rooms. there's a system of item weight that essentially means you have to see each book 10 times for it to disappear from the item pool. this can be circumvented by actually just picking up every book you see since that always removes them from item pools (although it's not as easy with soul of isaac)
