⁠@@troyjollimore4100it might sound silly, but really mass drivers would be insanely deadly weapons, and extremely cost effective to use, since it’s basically just using the laws of physics to your advantage. After all, the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs and exterminated 75% of all life on earth was just a big rock, so hurling big rocks can be extremely effective, even if it might not look or sound as cool as laser weapons, which incidentally would not be cost effective.
