The vandalism is less than what it cost to open and close. Not every location can be 24 hours, but it is an advantage over other ones that close. Not every laundromat can cost a million dollars, with set hours and a attendant. Great job Dan

You can create a steal cage around the light bulbs and soap dispenser to prevent someone from taking them out and just walking away with it. The only downside is you would have to remove the cage to replace the bulbs and soap.

I had a neighbor who used to steal all the light bulbs from our common hallway so I crazy glued all the bulbs in. Problem solved! Plus it was hilarious listening to her cuss as she couldn't unscrew the bulbs lol

Better get you a hitch lock & receiver lock & ball lock for that hot dog cart and small lock where the cotter pin goes into the tongue of the cart or they will steal that too. I seen you didn't have that locked and thought theirs no way I'd leave mine unlocked anywhere! Might consider getting a small storage unit for the cart, just a thought : ) Unfortunately people will steal even if they have no idea what their stealing!

let us know if you find soap on the floor often we have the same dispenser's as you do and sometimes just walking by them to closely sets it off and we have it on the 1 setting to conserve sanitizer and it still makes a mess at times but they are cheap yes and work well.

hey man great channel, have been following you for a while now and let me say your channel has been a huge help and a major inspiration, what you do is what im working to be, learning both hot dogs and laundromats have been great, i too want to open 24 hour laundromats, it just makes sense if you know how to properly manage a business, most of that stuff that happens seems like small stuff so you have alot of valid points, keep doing what your doing my guy!

Nothing wrong with putting a camera just outside the restroom door, and posters regarding prosecution for theft inside the restrooms as sophisticated forms of deterrents! And a surveillance sign on the wall as well just to keep them in suspense! I'm aware of legalities regarding cameras in the restrooms but sarcasm has always been apart of my life and alass...its so hard to let it go!

I do. They are already replaced. I keep a stack of tiles in the back. The landlord just resurfaced the roof above the mat, so I havent had any new leaks lately.
