Curious to know what year and model you were working with. This door panel doesn't match a lot of the other videos although you are right in that he avoids removing the door handle and stuff.

@@Verbalism it’s an 09 C300. Everything totally matched yours. I got the runners today an am waiting for a 1/4 inch rivet tool. It’s not a hard job and I would have figured it out, but your video is making it so much easer. For the suction cup, I’m using a GoPro suction mount. Lol. Works great. That tip alone was outstanding. Again, thanks for posting your video.

Appreciate your thorough and well-explained video. Quick question: if the glass pane is fully in the door (because it won't go up at all, but motor makes noises) - what is the best way to safely change out the regulator?

Remove the window motor and speaker. This should allow you to raise the glass

You the best I’ve seen. Save more time. Just remove the speaker and get old regulator and new regulator through the speaker hole. No need to remove rivets from panel.

I might be able to get the old one out through the speaker. I can't imagine being able to contort my arms to get the new one in place that way. But, thanks for the tip

@@PowerUpAuto forgot to mention my forearms are not big. I can see if someone has big forearm it would be difficult or get cut up going through the speaker hole. It works for me.

Hi, I have mercedes C300 2013 and the windows is not moving up nor down, it doesn't move at all. Someone told me the windows regulator might be the problem but they are not sure. What do you think, would it be the problem? I am planning to make the reapir myself but don't have all those tools, any recommendations where this might be done in Atlanta or Marietta GA? Thanks.

Almost certainly is the window regulator. Doa web search for mariatta, ga power window repair. I'm sure a few options will come up

Ir you hear noise like the other side is goin to be the regulador if you do not hear anithin is goin to be the motor or something electriccal problem

@@PowerUpAuto it was the door control module. If pressing the up and down buttons none of them worked. So I took the driver side motor out and connected the copilot side and when pressing up and down buttons it powered. I replaced the door control module and it worked back in the normal way. Anyway, I sold the car and some days after I got a call from the buyer saying there was a new fail in the car but this time in the motor. That car wasn't a good one.

Great video but the regulator can be snuck out of the speaker hole saving time and rivets.

Did you drill out the rivets for the speakers and then use screws as the replacements?

Correct. 1/4" self tapping screws

@@scottsimons2813 Is there any particular reason? He's already putting in the rivets for the rest of the door and he has a pretty robust tool so it's not like it's saving the hassle of having to use the riveting tool.

@@Verbalism The holes for the speaker are smaller than 1/4" and the plastic on the speaker is more brittle. Screws work best,

Hi would you know the size if the replacement rivets I will need for the door panel and for the window regulator?

Or slightly bigger, you can always hole it out larger.

Mine had rivets and we drilled them out can I just replace that with screws
