I have a question about a mix of 1a and 3 which are oposing but that's exactly me. Both of those. I need structural control and form perfection but also power and that neuro drive in training and also very low volume otherwise I just burn out like a candle. What's your opinion on the 1a and 3 oposing mix?

Being a distance runner before getting into weightlifting, I had the same initial thought but after further consideration realized I may be more of a 2A. I dismissed that off hand because I don't NEED variation and could relate to every other type more. But, I also realized what works BEST for me is variation. I will gruel through 1A type workouts everyday for months on end, then switch in some lower weight, high rep workouts (2B, 1A?) for a couple weeks and repeat. I could probably benefit from more variation, if you're anything like that, same might go for you.

It's kind of weird, i relate more with 1a in how quickly my strength diminishes past 5 reps and how i don't seem to be able to control myself to NOT to go crazy with intensity even with isolation work, i sort of get a kick out of it, i suppose that's dopamine or adrenaline.. But personality type I'm for sure 2b but i hate pump work, thoughts ?

wait shouldint shot put throwers be1B cause its explosive sport
@THIBARMY5 жыл бұрын
Some are. Normally the "explosive" shot putters are 1B and the "strong" shot putters are 1A (e.g. Beyer vs Sarul). I suspect that 1A will tend to be more gliders and 1B spinners.

what was the name of the freak nfl athlete you talked about ?

I don't remember the story I told and I'm not gonna rewatch myself (HATE hearing myself talk). Might have been Adam Archuletta (he likely was a 1B though).
