13:33 The CVS sliced cheese story is as goofily described. 2 roommates walked in, simply asked an employee if the store carried sliced cheese, the employee said no, then the employees barricaded themselves in an office for over a half hour and called the police to remove the patrons for trespassing. The employees were later retrained because they're not supposed to leave a sales floor unattended without a legitimate concern.

I looked up the sliced cheese CVS incident and... it didn't really clarify anything 😂 Apparently, they just walked in, asked for sliced cheese, were told the store didn't have any... and then the employees hid in the back room and called the cops, then asked the cops to kick the men out. Which they say was based on racism as the customers were Black, but the company (obviously) says it wasn't... and that's it. No idea what really happened there if it's not actually as simple as "racist CVS employees got scared that some big, Black men were in their store" 😕

Assuming everything you found happened. I’m assuming the man either didn’t believe them and was causing a scene or was out of his mind either due to drugs or just insane and thought they had cheese. I don’t see how saying they don’t have cheese and running into the back makes a great deal of sense unless the man stayed in the store. A normal person would leave after being told a thing they were looking to buy wasn’t at a store. The fact cops had the time to appear means the man wasn’t leaving.

But honestly, if if he was "causing a scene" or "out of his mind due to drugs", that definitely would have been unusual enough to mention in any reports of the incident, which it wasn't. And the customer is the one who was interviewed after the fact. So, yeah, it doesn't totally make sense why they'd run in the back and call the cops, but if they *were* racist, then it makes sense. The number of times people have called the cops on others because they're Black and thus considered instantly suspicious is far more than once, and once would be too much.

to answer the question about why koi fish in a pond Amy hit it spot on, you need a strong flow pump and filtration to clean that water constantly, from my own experience where one of us took off the pump to the KOI pond ( it's a mysterious third switch that was always on since the house was renovated, and we moved in, we have no clue what it leads to, there even was a switch outside for a big light above it so the switch being in our bedroom makes no sense. ) I know they will die within 6 hours. This happened twice, and my father filled the pond with tilapia, a restraint fish that can survive a full pond cleaning with chemicals. How did we know this, it had a lot of babies the following day.
