If you close your eyes when Reacher speaks, all I can hear is Clint Eastwood. Especially with the funny quips. Is it just me?

Nope. This season has dipped in quality. I still like the show but it's hard to make excuses for some very poor writing in parts. It feels like the show just exists to show Reacher beating people up and shooting them, with the plot a distant afterthought. Who even cares about the guy buying the missiles? I keep forgetting he exists.

@@Great_Watt Sorry to tell you, but that's sort of how the books are. Plotlines exist so he can be a bad ass on a regular basis🤷‍♂️.

5:34 correct me if I'm wrong here but isn't the guys weapon of choice a bone saw that isn't even able to cut the skin let alone seriously damage the flesh? when he falls on it, sure, might penetrate but in the struggle with Knealey she wasn't in real danger to be cut up like with a chainsaw

At first i thought it was the saw used to take.off plasters that oscillates and doesn't hurt the skin,but ig a bone saw can go through the skin if it can go through the bone

@@roniljain5192 hey man, I checked up with two mates who work in the hospital/are becoming doctors and that's exactly the saw you see there. there are plaster cast saws and bone saws which are both pretty much the same thing, main difference being the blade that's used. they both oscillate at a certain frequency and both only really cut hard material (bone or plaster). they have a hard time cutting skin or flesh since soft material just gives way. that being said, the bone saw has a higher chance of cutting skin and could be potentially dangerous if smashed into the neck with some force for example. just because it can go through bone doesn't automaticly mean it can go through flesh, just like the cast saw easily cutting plaster doesn't mean it can cut skin efficiently.

I agree with most posters here regarding season 2 not quite as good as season 1. Still every episode outside of 5 was very good.

In the season 2 trailer it shows all four in a cafe all beat up. I don’t think they are double agents😊

For the record, the whole foley/urethra thing...Reacher just threw a little air into the urinary bladder. If he actually wanted to make the urethra tear etc. he would have to deflate the ballon, retract it into the penile urethra and then insufflate it again and then start yanking it around. As we all know, 'details matter'. Air embolism thing was done even sloppier. Clearly didn't have a read doc consulting on the show. 😁😁

Season 2 is not as good as season 1. Season 1 was flawed but an overall good time and I could overlook the flaws (which were mainly some rather 2-dimensional characters). Season 2 feels a little more shallow. I was very disappointed about how they handled Russo's character. He was the definition of a 2-dimensional plot device. Reacher beat him up for no reason, he was constantly accused of being corrupt when he was actually a good cop, the team used him for info but kept him largely in the dark, Reacher got him to compromise his principles and look the other way while he literally squeezed info out of a suspect, then the team turned him into a babysitter and very obvious target and left him to get killed with no backup. That character deserved some redemption, not to just get killed the way he did. I'll still watch a season 3 of this show as I'm very happy something like this exists, but I hope there's a little more substance to the next season. This season has just felt like a very thin plot to tie together action scenes, and it's not of a high enough production value to justify that.

I knew it he was going kill that cop boss Lt. Marsh cause he said he didn't knew what was going happened when he call Langston to keep a tap on Russo but I love the fact Reacher call him out on it cause Lt. Marsh knew what Langston going do to Russo when he told Russo knew about everything and Reacher just kill him, I wish he would beat him up more but I did like he was crushing his ball and my theory last episode Swam going show up as bad guy first and then switch good double agent and help them and he going tell what really happened by he got the other 2 involve but they was kill and he went into hiding

5:28. the goon you call another nurse is actually a doctor, or given the scrubs most likely a surgeon. blues are more often worn by ward staff whilst greens are theater scrubs. also, Neagley said something about he was wearing a nurses stethoscope, because there was tape on it. she said they were doctors scrubs but the stethoscope had paper tape on it, "only nurses wear paper tape."

Neagley is working for Langston, she said how expensive it is to keep her father in a high end care facility and why she is supposedly working as a PI but she's never received any calls or messages from the place she is supposed to be working for and also seems to have an endless cash supply. It doesn't add up as well she tried to stop Reacher from turning himself into Langston.

Nope - she's a character in many of the Reacher books. She's not working for Langston and she's not gonna die. She's actually a smoking' hot blond in the books.

As an avid book fan, I would have liked to see the book ending in the movie, but anything that shows Langston getting thrown out of a helicopter (or blown up in one as the trailer suggests) is fine. It will be interesting if AM's fate is similar to the book or if he meets a brutal death as well. Marsh's cause of death was the same as in the book, but the location and his involvement were different. I hate waiting but am looking forward to the last episode.

But i. they are keeping the suspense regarding Swan being a double agent, and, ii. Preserving the attempt to frame Swan at the end. So at that stage, he meant Dixon plus O Donnell were still Reachers "guys" (- colloquial not literal)

Can someone explain why Langston doesn't just kill reacher and his team right there? Seems like a bit of a plot hole to me, unless I'm missing something, what is the reason for keeping them alive at this point?

U missed the last phone call between Langston and reacher, missiles were hijacked and Langston thinks Reacher has them. Langston doens't know his consignment is hijacked by his buyer

I’m thinking Dixon is the turncoat. She fits the mold best. Plus, she really doesn’t add much to the storyline except some gratuitous sex.

She's figured out a few things, and provided transport, as well as a safe space for Marlo(sp) and daughter (so far as we know). I first thought she was an obvious mole, arriving out of nowhere as she did. But we see her in the "dress up" episode working her mark, and we get things from her point of view. I began to trust her then.
