I have been using Nioxin on and off for 10+ years. Now, I have stocked up as I am convinced its the best shampoo ever. It solidly makes me look like I have twice the amount of hair whenever I use it. Also, it is super concentrated which is a major pro. Considering these factors I have just mentioned, this really isn't a pricey product after all.

I was evaluated with Alopecia last year. Doctor told me it is NOT hereditary at all 🙈 which i had always believed it was. It depends on your nutrition and stress to develop more production of DTH which cause thinning hair that eventually lead to hair loss. I will try those shampoos for a 6 months period hoping any of these will help. Thank you!

Hey girl, I am on the same boat. I used to have really thick curly corse type hair. Different then most people. And I am a mother and as an adult being 25 I am tired of losing so much hair. Nizoral is a anti androgen ketoconozole wash that actually works for diffuse thinning. I doubt they kick back though so no financial gain for you.

Just came from dermatologist and I was told that it’s not hereditary that anyone can have it because no one in my family have it and I am suffering from alopecia. Hypothetically alopecia is another word for hair loss from what I understand but there are different types of alopecia or hair loss.

I love KM. Use a clarifying shampoo if you're using a treatment. Are you using a mask? I like a clarifying shampoo once a week to remove buildup.

@@rishipujari7850 I just realized you asked if you should use the clarifying shampoo before your shampoo and conditioner, and I would advise yes. Nothing ever bad happened from that .. but I would keep it to once a week in case you end up over-exfoliating. It's good to prep the scalp and hair before you use the treatments. Minoxidil will grow back hair but it will fall out every time you stop using. Minoxidil also does nothing to stop hair from falling out. Finasteride does that, but it doesn’t promote growth, minoxidil promotes growth

Hi Lina! I tried the Nioxin kit 2 this product did cleanse my hair amazingly but left my hair and scalp too dry. Iam a 20 year old man with fine/thin hair. Would you recommend Kevin murphy to try out next? Incase which one? Thanks before hand!

Yes try the plumping line. If your hair is now dry you can use a moisture conditioner or mask. They usually have butters and oils that moisturize the scalp!

Jack, Kevin Murphy does have a hair regrowth line just for me with the same active ingredients. I used to use Nizoral for scalp issues because it is an anti fungal but also helps block dht that causes hair loss, but I don’t have problems any more.

I have been using Kevin Murphy on my hair for the last 6 weeks and it's saved by hair completely. But when why mum uses it, she finds that the conditioner is making her lose hair. Is this normal or do you think this could be an allergic reaction and she should stop using the conditioner?

Hi Amelia! Glad to hear that about your hair. I love KM! About your mom - The conditioner cannot make you lose hair. Most hairloss as I mention is internal, so your mom is most likely going through a hormonal issue that she should see a doctor or TCM for. I also wonder where she bought the conditioner from. Buying cosmetics online could mean they're counterfeit and not the real deal. If she doesn't brush her hair then puts on conditioner and hair starts to fall, she will think her hair is shedding when it's just natural shedding. My mom is paranoid about every hair that falls out of her scalp lol .. So there are many factors that I can't diagnose online, but I would start with these points :)

Hashimotos Thyroiditis ere. I lost a lot of my hair in my twenties and went undiagnosed for many years (I am 50 now). Started Minoxidil 5% foam five months ago and it is helping. Looking to try either KM, Vegamour, or Hairlinken (in this order). But read that the KM Plumping line can be drying (my hair is so dry and fragile) and was leaning towards KM Hydration line. Any thoughts?

I have tried both the Plumping Line and the Hydrate Me line on my fine, thin, fragile hair. The Plumping 3-part system definitely delivers! My skin and hair get very dry during the winter months because we heat with wood 5 months per year. So in the winter, I use the Plumping Wash, the Hydrate Me rinse and the Body Mass spray. I don’t get quite as much thickening as the rest of the year, but still very impressive. The Body Mass spray has the highest concentration of active ingredients and is on the scalp the longest so definitely don’t skip it!!!

I can't say if it's bad or not. This is a general video on what shampoos I have seen work. As I mentioned my client saw amazing results with nioxin. Sulfates are cleansers. They get a bad rap because most shampoos use bad quality sulfates. Good, high grade quality sulfates are the ones in professional hair products.

Yes it can be used daily, but there is no need to wash your hair every day. Theres no reason for you to be concerned. We lose about 100 hairs per day!
