Yoooooo, I'm beyond flabbergasted. Do you know anything about NYC real estate? I'd be surprised if this is not well over $20K now. The tiniest, most awful little garden (slightly below ground) studios in this neighborhood go for $4K+/mo.

I was actually in the West Village today and came across a Townhouse for sale. I looked it up and it was selling for $11.5 milion. It was just for 1 family even with the garden apartment (that's where they had their kitchen). I was thinking, with that much space why not let the garden level be a rental unit? Then I realized..if someone can pay 11.5 million for a house, they don't need rental income. Anyhoo, this Townhouse kinda reminded of that one.

Honestly why do they need to make look modern it strips it of its history it’s personality and the things that made it a home now it’s just clinical no personality nothing just a shell with white walls and lights it’s a crime if the original architecture can’t be saved at least try to recreate the same type of architecture or decor to keep the original creators vision alive instead of the lazy method of “ hip modern yeah cool design

Cosmetically, this place has very few antique features, and some of the now-dated renovations haven't been high end. Functionally, if you're having a dinner party you must either eat in the kitchen (which lacks class) or cart all the food down a set of stairs (which is annoying and hazardous). A dumbwaiter would have helped. It needs a first-floor half bath. People paying $9,000/month expect class and luxury. This has neither. The location is very good and it has a lot of good space, but it strikes out for both cosmetics and function. (Add sound of me tearing up my check.)

Dang, Cashew. I have mixed feelings about this place. Even if I could afford it, the layout is somewhat bothersome. It was obviously designed to have the bottom floor as a "great room" for receiving guests. There is no bathroom on the ground level, so guests would need to ascend to take care of business. (I honestly don't know why I always worry about drunk people and stairs when I'm assessing these places.) Obviously, it's a beautiful place and location is PRIMO. PS. I love the black bathroom. You know, black is the new black.

I would set up a bar & pool table in the smaller section of the living room; which would be perfect for Entertaining. And put a Grand piano in the main section of the living room, with very expensive over sized couches & chairs. The walls scream for expensive modern art. I agree with you, the bedroom just outside the kitchen would make a perfect location for a home office. The master bedroom with Devine; with enough closet space to satisfy a Fashionista. For $9K I would expect better bathrooms...the space overall though looked good.

That first bedroom by the kitchen would be my dining room. Both bedrooms are great.

Wow! This is a great place, so big! I love Washington Square Park and, uh...ice cream! The first floor would make a great living room and, wait for it...library! the kitchen is large enough to fit an island and a dining table. The second floor bed room would be a great office. The two bedroom on the third floor are huge! A wonderful guest room, and that master bedroom is unbelievable! I might be able to live here! 😁

Like the gate ,courtyard and ceiling medallions and staircase - otherwise. The metal handle in the fireplace is called the damper ,shuts off or opens the draw in the chimney .

I really love it. That NYC charm that I love so much in these older buildings and its obviously been taken care of. Now, if someone just wants to give me $9000 a month. LOL

There should have been a half bath downstairs, it's going to be a hassle to walk up the stairs all the time. Also the bathroom on the 2nd floor should have been renovated, probably already a long time ago... If you compare it to the "white en-suite bathroom" on the 3rd floor, now that is a nice bathroom. The bathroom of the master bedroom/primary bedroom is again way smaller and not as nice although it has more counter space than a lot of kitchens. The laundry machine could also be replaced. There could have been an island in the kitchen or at least a wine fridge. There are some nice older features in the house but it lacks quality consistency and it doesn't feel that it has been maintained with the care it deserves. If I had 9.000$ to spend on monthly rent, I probably would go for something else.

I think I've watched just about every video and Cash has gradually shown us his style of humour....observant with a bit of truthful sarcasm. I love it! It's amazing so many of those beautiful plaster medallions remain unscathed. What type of flooring is in BR @ 6:47? I'd love to see the cellar and climb the ladder escape.

The cellar is actually a one bedroom apartment. This house is a two family house with a small rental unit in the lower level and the larger three story apt rental which was shown in this video thanks to Cash.

What would make these videos a lot more interesting is, for you to come back when the property is actually rented, and interview the Renter, and learn their backgrounds.

the fireplaces, the two stained glass windows and a few of the ceiling lights did not get torn out but everything else did. I am so disappointed, my favorite, absolutely my very favorite street in all of the five boroughs and the inside looks like they cleaned it up from a 1980 SRO fire trap,. With an address like that, I just want to cry......
