While a lot of part time job holders struggle to make ends meet , those people who currently work full time have no job security at all going to work everyday in fears and they feel they are only a couple pay cheques away to become homeless. I wonder if Pierre Poilivre can truly make difference in getting Canada back on track ? 😒 🤔 As for the part about townhouses being sold just little north of Toronto in the price range of a million dollars is ridiculous. That's just greed on the homeowners part. No home buyers forced the homeowner to spend thousands of dollars renovating their house ? A working stove and fridge and maybe a dishwasher is all that is needed for the kitchen. A lamented counter top for the kitchen is good enough, it doesn't have to have a quartz countertop . It's unnecessary! As long as the house is clean that's all the matter plus is up to code and gets an approval from a home inspection. Now as for the homeless problem in Canada at 260,000 people that's more than the population of Prince Edward Island 🏝 which has a population of 177,000 people. PEI is much bigger than the Gaza Strip in Israel can someone please tell me how the Palestinians can fit over 2 million people in such a small territory that's smaller than PEI ? You know they could span out their population into Israel if they just learned to get along with the Jews in Israel 🇮🇱 Kumbiya style ! In the West specifically North America the United States and Canada and in the UK white people are forced to get along with other races and religious minority groups whether we like or not. Millions of white people in the West don't seem to mind one way or another even if there are some who are racist ? They make up a very small minority in Canada and the United States and in the United Kingdom. The Liberals in America and Canada are constantly bringing up the KKKs even though they haven't been around for a very long long time. It's the same in the United Kingdom with the Liberals bringing up the EDL ( English Defense League ) for those who don't know what the EDL stands for ? Anyway I am sorry for getting off topic here. 😔 It's okay to disagree with people and to have a different opinion. There's nothing wrong with that. But I am worry though when the Trudeau Liberal government starts bringing in Palestinian refugees from the Gaza Strip on what it's going to be like in Canada afterwards. Do they deserve a safe haven and a place to go to ? Absolutely we should be helping them for all that they went through over there. But please leave your troubling past behind in the Gaza Strip and do not bring any terrorism ideas here in Canada we have enough problems in Canada already. God bless you all 🙏 😊

The root cause of homeless is financialization of housing. Think about how much the developer, the bank, and even the real estate agents makes, among others who also involve in house building. In Canada, like the USA, politicians work for the capitalists. Even you avoid Olivia Chow, and instead use a message of the Major of St Catherine. because she is known as a leftist. The Liberals, NDP Should Be So Proud, This Is What You Have Done, The Hard Working Canadians Are Suffering Terribly Because Of You, So Keep On Smiling And Laughing 😃 Again You Must Be So Proud

The problem is the law is biased against landlords. If the tenants don't pay rent, the landlord cannot kick the tenant out. They have to go to court and back and forth for like 1 year, then the government will require the tenant to live without paying any money. That's why lots of landlords nowadays require a full annual payments if you cannot provide a good looking CRA tax form. Some of them even rather keep their house or room empty than rent it to some random person. The tenant is protected toooooo good and the landlord are robbed by the government.
@kimberlyskye2024Ай бұрын
Yeah right… rent control needs to be in place, tenants are suffering because of insane rent costs. Landlords and huge company’s don’t need more protections when they are profiting to a ridiculous amount off people who need a home
@lym39599Ай бұрын
@@kimberlyskye2024 Well, tenants are sufferinng not because of the landlords, it all caused by the law. When a tenant who refuse to pay rent but can still live in the property supported by law. the landlord have to make their action. Then, the good tenant starts to suffer. My ex-manager has properties in Canada and US. He spent 13 months to court to get his tenant out in Canada. He sold all his revenue properties in Canada and invested the money in US. In US, if the tenant don't pay rent, they will be kicked by law enforcement, so the landlord don't have to suffer and don't have to set barriers on leasing agreement. On another hand, the Canadian government took too many people in without any preparation. No enough appartments and houses were built. the demand is far more than the supply could handle, no wonder the property price gone up. if there is enough house for people to live, the house price will drop immediately.
@kimberlyskye2024Ай бұрын
@@lym39599 than put in rent control and caps. Tenants are suffering and landlord are abusing the system. They should not be surprised people can’t pay. Landlords can charge whatever they want, don’t fix stuff, don’t have to include air conditioning and that’s exactly it they own many properties - they can only afford to do that cause they rip people off. Majority of rental properties are now owned by Companies. The law protecting people from not being kicked out immediately is fair in many cases because they are over charging without laws telling them not to. Also with how many immigrants they are letting in to Canada we will never catch up with housing. These fake colleges have to be demolished. Brampton is full of people who have bought houses and filled them with five or six international students each. Our communities are not the same since Trudeau. I don’t agree with people not paying rent at all however if you raise rent to the degree they have people truly can’t pay that, the least they can do is have some tenant protections. And also I don’t know where you got your information but people do get kicked out if you don’t pay your rent. For me personally I work full time plus have a side income as my studio apartment in a low income area is 2000$ a month which is currently standard, plus I have to pay my own AC machine, have 200 a month in hydro fees plus internet. I do not feel bad for landlords or these large companies taking over the city and charging outrageous prices for a cubicle. If I don’t pay that 2000 within two weeks you are evicted. These tent cities a lot of them are Canadians, senior citizens- people who have literally paid high taxes in this country for generations.

I do have sadness for them as to what lies ahead in this struggle we know as we went through it when we were overrun with western ideology and assimilated almost out of existence, our merge in has had its struggles even still to this day, keep immigrating and loss the war - best now is stop all immigration and assimilate all before even putting immigration back on the table to win the war - my native best advice we natives never listened too and lost.

I will tell you what you need to do. Build more homes. Slow down immigration. Homes are now a commodity. Arrest criminals hold them accountable. We have a problem now that didn't pre exist this government. These ppl that have chosen to live on the street will require extensive mental help and or therapy to overcome their addictions. Just simply arresting criminals might be part of the solution. Most ppl experiencing homelessness are in some phase of drug addiction.
