Love the videos Chris! Been a part of your channel for sometime now and always love the advice and knowledge you have with this. So what I've been doing for about 3 weeks now, I drink a protein shake at 7:30 every morning. 12:30 I eat my lunch. Most days it's a chicken salad with either yogurt or a banana, sometimes grapes for a snack ( I use Extra Virgin Olive oil for my dressing but not every day) And it's lightly poured in it. Other days I use light dressing of some kind. I don't eat until dinner which is around 5-5:30. Go to the gym about an hour later but after dinner I don't eat until lunch the following day. I've seen progress doing this and I feel great and energized every day.

@@elliottsolmy starting weight i checked on May 3rd 2024 and i lost 5kgs on june 24th 2024. It was all by maintaining a clean diet and exercising regularly and have 1 or 2 rest days. I did chris herias strength training videos AWESOME which focuses on major muscles bcz those areas gain more weight like back, thighs and legs. And a few of others too. I had mackeral fish, chicken breasts, eggs, cheakpeas for protein. And i am indian so i do eat rice but better if you check with a dietician on how much quantity u should consume. I was just following random people's diet plan like 130g of rice. Yeah and have diary in my diet too. Nothing wrong with that. Anything more u wanna know buddy?

@@elliottsoli did have cheat meals too. Not a whole cheat day because steve zim said having 1 cheat meal as much as u like is appropriate than having a whole day of cheat meal because then it would take 3 days to come back in track. So i followed his advice. And i also have a sweet tooth so i made healthy versions of what i like. And i did not weigh myself eveeyday. Just eveey 2 - 3 days.

I drink a lot of water and 2 coffees before my meals because it's help for not starving. But no sugar or milk in the coffee and good quality as well. Espresso or filter coffee. After 3 months I lost 9 kilos of fat and I feel stronger in gym. I am 65 kilos now and I am 44years old.

I do intermittent fasting everyday 16 or 18hrs, I have a lot of energy during this time, since my body starts running on ketones, my exercise is better, my mental acuity is better, one a week I do 24hour fast, which increase GH in more than 500% in men, even though I can beat my 2000-2500 calories intake everyday, I eat a lot of fats, protein and trying to reduce carbs, I feel an overall improvement on my health, my immune system and strength, humans evolve in scarcity, we aren't made to be eating every 3 hours, make sure to take your electrolytes and vitamins everyday!

Your body is not running on ketones. Your fast is too short for that.

@@radovsky3939 recent studies have shown that depends a little bit on each person, but the results shown that it can start even after a 14hrs fast, when I made the test, I was in 17hr fast and in ketosis!
@Voidermusic22 күн бұрын
@@radovsky3939 12-16 hours so yes, his body is able to do that. And doing it on the regular trains the body to dip into those faster and using it as primary source of energy instead of glycogen. Exercising also speeds up the process as glycogen is empty earlier, the 12-16 hours are for a normal person not exercising.
@electricmeatpuppet22 күн бұрын
@@radovsky3939 This isn't entirely true. An experienced person's body and metabolism is very differently adapted to someone starting out for the very first time. This is one thing a lot of people that watch fitness influencers don't understand and why they quit after not getting "the same results" immediately. For most sedentary people, it usually takes a couple weeks if not months of concerned effort to begin to become fat adapted, at which point your liver can quickly produce ketones within several hours. Remember you are talking about reversing DECADES of ill health and metabolic habits in most people.

Well, I'm doing intermittent fasting for the past 4-5 years and yes I lost weight BUT I also lost muscle. Everytime that I tried hitting my protein goal I get nauseated due to the high protein amount in each meal. Imaging having to eat 150 grams of protein in a 6-8 hour window; is almost impossible. Before you try it, read about, watch videos and analyse if it fits your objective.
