Fel, I'm so thrilled that you've been able to learn the language and interact with the locals. However, I wish you could go to their farms and industrial areas to capture how they industrialised and the equipment they manufacture. You could show the equipment that can be exported to Africa to help industrialise. Then you can also export the equipment through your company. Touring the country is fine but you are missing the jewels that are right under your gaze! How about finding out how to keep towns organised and clean! Do that and you'll have made an awesome contribution to your country!

Yes. People who move out of their homeland do not forget about where they came from. I met one guy at the gym and he came to the US from Kenya. He came here on a student visa and he ended up staying after graduating. He started a family and was working here in the SF Bay Area. But as his kids got older and grew into their teenage years he wanted to start a business back in Kenya. He put in the time, effort and money to get it started. For now he's paying a brother to run the business while he continues to live in the US. He wants his daughters to graduate from college before he makes any decisions about moving back to Kenya.

Like me for instance, I lived in the United States for 18 years before returning home in Kenya. I felt like a stranger. I stayed for 2 years before returning to the US.
