My dad always told me horror stories about his aging aunt. She acted like this lady, she would clean out and reuse ziploc bags, paper towels, and even foil. And she did the whole "put food back in jars" thing too. Problem with her was that she grew up in a very poor household and later we found out she had extreme mental and health issues. She was very sweet and kind. He never ate her food, and always brought her fresh meals when he would visit her.

As someone who worked in produce, yes you can just put grapes in a separate bag. We usually recommend to ask us to do so, or to wear gloves, but that’s not always the case. It’s why you freaking wash your fresh produce.

Guys, the lint is from the DRYER, as in after you've washed your clothes. There's nothing gross in it. Granted, weird to use as a cotton swab but it makes great firestarter.

no, it is gross, especially if you own animals. my dryer lint has like 3 different species of animal fur in it, you couldn’t pay me to rub my face with it.
