I’m actually jealous that you can not only pop it up in 2nd, but shift while in a wheelie. I try so hard on my grom to get the front wheel up in 2nd, but I can’t. Btw Life is like a box of chocolates. Love the video man. Keep up the great work.
@AdventureDaily6 жыл бұрын
Practice, practice, and.. more practice, you will get them eventually! And lol yes it is😂 Thanks for the comment Tommy!
@vondrz13916 жыл бұрын
Tommy Clement quick shift. You don’t need a clutch to shift a motorcycle. Just learned it on my drz
@AdventureDaily6 жыл бұрын
Yeah I wouldn't recommend that. Jolts the bike too much and if your break control isn't up to par you will end up looping it.
@vondrz13916 жыл бұрын
Attention Deficit yea I’m not sure about the grom. The one grom I rode didn’t have any engine braking which I felt would sketchy for wheelie especially with shifting mid wheelie. Dizzier shifts smooth
@tommyclement78226 жыл бұрын
Vondrz last time I tried quick shifting on my grom I went down lol. Maybe it was just because I wasn’t at the right rpm and then I looped. Thank you for your input! I appreciate it.

My bike is completely stock do I still need to take off the side cover to clean the spinner? I change my oil like every 800 1000 Mi or something ridiculous. Thx 4 the help. The guy that worked at my local motorcycle shop worked there for like 20 or 30 years he said Honda motorcycles from the 70s have never had the case cracked open to clean the screen and they were totally fine 40 years later (& they still run)so makes me think I don't need to but advice is appreciated. Thank u👍😎👍

True about the reliability part, I didn't think of that. I feel like Honda's are at best when they are left alone for the most part. I'm also glad to see you still keeping it stealthy with the stock exhaust!

@cykablyat85132 жыл бұрын
I need to do something similar on my Ninja EX300. Not sure if it's the oil pickup or oil position sensor when when hitting around 11'clock bike begins boggin/loosing power, forcing the front end down. It feels like hitting a foot brake hard, no matter the throttle response it's not enough. It also leaks oil out of (PCV valve?) through air intake and gets the filter, drips down on swingarm and motor
@james-d1c3x6 жыл бұрын
Your videos are the best,always helpful.I have a 2017 Grom,SCProducts stainless low mount exhaust system,airbox mods,fork travel longer after winding sharft nuts up.I cut my rear guard off and it look factory,real trick.I have done many other mods also,not a fast bike,but a lot of fun.

Tried to get Zab Fab to do a barter for design/web/illustration work to get one and they didn't even respond lol. I went with Straight Up Pumps instead, cheaper for the same exact thing. $70 for the oem pump, $120 for koso or takegawa. That and a handbrake are otw, standups and loops incoming lol.
@AdventureDaily6 жыл бұрын
Bummer man that's lame! And yeah there are plenty of pumps out there I just know these guys personally and the fabricator is actually an engineer so it just gives me a lot of confidence in their product, especially when giving my word to thousands of people. How does the new oil pump block off the stock/original oil pickup point? It's a hole in the engine case right next to the oil filter screen. That hole doesn't need to be blocked? Please explain
@AdventureDaily6 жыл бұрын
You will have to ask the experts on that one. DM instagram.com/zabfabllc 👍🏻
@ReadyAsHeWillEverBe6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply! At 45 seconds, I think I see where they blocked a port on the oil pump. Looks like a small plug adjacent to the welded pipe. I'm gonna check with zabfab. Too bad you didn't show a side by side old vs new oil pumps, 20 20 hindsight lol. Killin them wheelies. Like you i'm all foot brake. Rear brake looks stock? Maybe do a vid on how to shift in wheelie?
@AdventureDaily6 жыл бұрын

Man, if you like being on one wheel so much...ride a unicycle. Seriously. So much emphasis on wheelies and very little on the actual joy of riding. Riding a curving road and getting some good lean angels in there are more fun. It feels like you are flying a fighter jet on the ground. Doing a mod to make 15 mile an hour wheelies is...mind-boggling. I don't get it. When I ride on groups...the first person to run into me because he was riding a wheelie is going to get the fight of his life. I'm a Mello fellow but, stupidity, I can't forgive.
@AdventureDaily6 жыл бұрын
I have a unicycle actually! One wheel is the best wheel. Wheelies are my thing, they are fun to me, they take skill, talent, and are one of my favorite things about riding. Also harmless to others in most cases. I will never be able to change your mind but that's my opinion and I thank you for watching! I also live in Ohio with flat roads and cornfields😂 We have to keep it entertaining someway.
@joblessalex5 жыл бұрын
On my end, going 70 on a 20 and misjudging that one corner that sends you into oncoming traffic is 10x worse. It's a different style of hooliganism. On the one hand, if you put your bike down it'll slide off the road instead of stay in the middle like a wheelie. All up to the rider really.
@topemeister30005 жыл бұрын
Damn, Chuck. You really came to a stunt channel to tell the guy that “Riding a curving road a curving road and getting some good lean angels in there are more fun.” Why is your personal opinion a fact? Why don’t you drag knee into a Mosque and tell the people there that you don’t get it and that they all need to convert to Christianity? You are definitely not a mellow fellow - you’re already looking forward to the imaginary fight you’re gonna have ‘IF’ somebody wheelies into you (WTF?). You came here with an ego. How can you not just let somebody enjoy their thing.
