Re-found civ a few months ago after not playing since civ 2. I was like 6 or 7 and my uncle would help me, now it’s this KZbin channel

Commentary is hilarious and entraining. Great job here, definitely going to try this setup. Since I started watching these I am winning my first few diety matches. From watching I'm learned the necessity for early war and always being on the offensive, thank you 👍⚔️

This guys' voice is suspiciously similar to the guy who kept calling my parents house asking if it was a dunkin donuts. Whenever they told him "no" he'd just say "welli do-nut care! make me a coffee!"

newbie question: why does the horseman and the settler suddenly produce when the builder cuts trees? in 12:10
@PapaRoboto2 жыл бұрын
Clearing wood and bonus resources add production, food, or gold to the city whose "feature" was cleared belongs to. While a city is producing a unit, a district, a building, a wonder or a project, and a resource within it's frontiers gets harvested, the production generated by harvesting immediately gets added to whatever the city's producing.

Plantations and zoom through the civics tree. I always love the Strategic Resources one, but- even though it would have paid off in the end- would be too much of a gamble at this point with only one horses revealed.
@jyutzler3 жыл бұрын
@@bertrambauer7357 I don't see more than about 3 plantation sites. Certainly not enough to "zoom through the civics tree".

@@jyutzler Spices already in the cap's territory, 2 wine on the next ring and banana as well, and that's just the capital at the time of the pantheon choice.

A builder is worth ~200 gold. A monument is 240 I think, so even with only one plantation you would be ahead. In a domination game you can assume you will get a lot of plantations, helping you get to key civics faster.
